He is not a black wolf, but he declares himself to be the Alpha of the pack. “The she-wolf doesn’t appear to want to go with you. As Alpha of the Red Moon Pack, I am granting her sanctuary. Until I know why so many wolves would be chasing such a young she-wolf.” He at least sounds like a reasonable Alpha.
