She smelled the scent of food and smoke. She opened her eyes. She was standing in the middle of a market. People were. Cars were honking. It was Umuahia.. Something was wrong. She looked at her hand. She was holding a book. She looked at Benson. He was standing next to her holding a bag of groceries. He looked at her with confusion. "June " he whispered. "Why are there two moons in the sky?. Why are they both made of glass?" June looked up. The sky was blue.. Hanging in the air were two giant clear balls. Inside one ball she saw the apartment. Inside the other she saw the university ruins.

“So that way.” 16B was a much larger section than I expected. Still, it made sense since wolves were always passing down stories to the younger generations, true or not. “Found it,” I said. It took forty-five minutes but I found a book on the Moon Blessed that was not a kid's bedtime story. “When the Goddess becomes a man,” I read out the title. From the cover, I could tell it was still a fiction story for the most part. But it was better than nothing at all.

She almost laughed — a bitter, tired sound. He probably spent nights here studying ways to keep chaos at bay, while she was the chaos itself. Her fingers brushed a faded book that looked out of place — “The Lunar Doctrine.” Unlike the others, this one bore the symbol of the moon — silver, scratched and old. Curiosity tugged at her. She pulled it free and carried it to a desk by the window, where the moonlight filtered through heavy curtains like liquid glass. Page after page spoke of ancient beliefs — the moon as mother, the sun as destroyer, the balance between light and shadow.

The moonlight was coming in through the window and making the room lighter. For some reason in that moment her mind went to Quinn. He’d always called her “his moon” because of her eyes. He’d once told her he’d never met another person with grey/silver eyes like hers. He told her they reminded him of the moon the way they shone. After, changing into pyjamas , it's already night . Yesterday night,I was busy organizing my plans , I didn't have a chance to look at the moons . I think , I'll see it today. I called Ash to keep me company in the balcony of daisy room . As I said before ,in this world there are 2 moons. One is emitting golden light and the other blue light . It was such a beautiful sight .

It had the sign of the moon on it too. "This, is the sword of Artemis, it will be your cloud in the day and fire in the night. It will be your guild. Accept this gift from the goddess of the moon." Myra bowed placing the sword in her hands. Kendrick hesitated taking it at first, but changed his mind as his took it carefully from her hands. He held it in his hands and the moon symbol on the handle of the sword glowed brightly, and so did the moon on Myra's forehead.
