The Billionaire’s Broken Angel… and His Darkest Desire

The Billionaire’s Broken Angel… and His Darkest Desire

Maya had exactly three rules for survival, and Ethan Walsh was breaking every single one of them. Rule One: Don't let anyone get close enough to hurt you. Rule Two: Never depend on someone you can't walk away from. Rule Three: Trust your instincts when they scream danger. And right now, watching Ethan repair the porch railing with his shirt sleeves rolled up to reveal forearms that had no business looking that capable, every instinct she had was screaming. Just not the kind of danger she was used to.

Will you marry me, Mr. Mayor

Will you marry me, Mr. Mayor

“Good.” Kuya Adam nodded. “Very good.” “Don’t sound so proud,” I muttered. “I’m still angry at all of you.” Mom gave a small, tearful laugh. Dr. Mira leaned forward. “Before we open the full Project Thea file, I need to set rules.” I swallowed. “Rules?” “Yes. We review in sections. If you experience dizziness, sharp headache, shortness of breath, or memory flooding, we stop.” “And if I don’t want to stop?”

After the Third Time

After the Third Time

Henry, in a state of panic, waved his hands desperately. "Selena, calm down. It's not good for the baby. If you don't want to see me, I'll get out of your way. I promise I won't show up again! Please don't be mad!" He scurried behind a tree, but not before adding, "Check out the cafeteria's private room later. I left your favorite cheese pasta there. Make sure you go!" My heart was pounding, and I could not rein in my emotions.

Fated to my One Night Stand

Fated to my One Night Stand

Something about that was quietly satisfying and she let out a sigh then spoke. “Rule one. When one person starts, like you clearly wanted to just now, the other person doesn’t engage and when e are in a bigger space, we simply walk away.” “Rule two.” I picked it up without hesitation. “No more deliberately pushing at each other.” “Rule three. No more insults and backhanded comments.” “Rule four.” I held her gaze. “We stay out of each other’s space unless it is absolutely necessary for the public image of this arrangement.”

Rules We Break

Rules We Break

She walked to me and I ran to hug her. “Hey, why are you outside? What's with the look? Trevor is going to be fine.” “I'm scared.” I cried into her arms. “Don't be. You're just paranoid. You need to rest.” Her hands brush my hair.. “How? How can I rest? I can't. I'm in a very traumatic situation. My heart doesn't stop racing. I'm anxious.” “He's going to be fine. I'm sure about it.”

The Billionaire's Exception: Elena's Revenge

The Billionaire's Exception: Elena's Revenge

Rule One: no sleeping in the same room unless the house is on fire, the walls are bleeding, or the alternative is being murdered. I stared at it. Then at her. She lifted her chin. “It is a very reasonable rule.” I moved to the next line. Rule Two: no appearing behind me like a haunted tax collector. I looked up. “A haunted tax collector?” “That was not the point.” I kept reading. Rule Three: no commenting on my emotional state unless prepared to defend your own. Rule Four: no using the words ‘wife,’ ‘contract,’ or ‘stability’ as if they are magic spells.

Reckless Love

Reckless Love

I thought he would tilt and pull me now. “We need to talk,” and here comes the reality. Picking the lint off my dress, I nodded. He drew his bag close and took some documents out. “I hope you remember the rules I was talking about last night. If you have missed them, I would like to repeat it once again.” “Three rules. We will not sleep together. You will never go through any matters of mine emotionally, mentally, or anything. Behind those doors, we are two different worlds.” “And third...” he paused and extended the papers in front of me.

ONE NIGHT STAND WITH MY HUSBAND

ONE NIGHT STAND WITH MY HUSBAND

“So what, you would drop dead if you had carried me for another three seconds?” Luca walked over her body like she was a corpse, then he turned back to give her a deathly stare “Don't tell me you didn't read my terms and conditions” “I—” Sharon instantly remembered reading the first four rules then squeezing the rest. “You're not very bright are you?” Sharon got up from the floor slowly, her back was sore “I didn't read it all, but I looked at it” “Well then, you should remember that the third rule specifically said you should maintain a three feet distance from me at all times!”

A Queen Among Snakes

A Queen Among Snakes

I know what kind of future I want with Chris, and I’m determined to make it happen. * I find myself waking up for the third time. Glancing at the clock I can see it’s three in the morning. No matter how hard I try, I just can’t seem to stay asleep, there’s so much weighing on my mind that it won’t let me relax. I decide I want to go for a walk, try and get some fresh air and see if that helps, but I remember what happened to Chris the last time I did that. Last thing I want to do is trigger his own anxiety again, I know all too well how horrible that feels.

I absolutely loved this book. It was such a welcome change to have a timid and sweet main character. The writing is so great, and had me in tears multiple times. my heart broke and soared along with the story. I would highly recommend this book!

i thought book 2 couldn't possibly live up to book 1 but i am so happy to be wrong. this just moved the entire series forward and was even better than the first. i think i'm a huge Mei stan now and am so excited to start the next book. i rarely cry at books, but this one got me several times.
