I was frustrated,the thought of having to spend two nights in my bed without him made me feel a little sick; it would have been horrendous even if we hadn’t just got together, but now it actually felt like torture. I sighed and went back to the couch to watch Jake whip Claire’s butt on the Wii. That night was awful. He wanted to wipe them away, but there was no way he could take another chance after stealing what didn't belong to him last night. She looked into the direction of the stairs as if she was afraid that something or rather, someone might come down there.

He had lost five million dollars because of a stupid fight. A very stupid fight. That anger almost made him throw those two men overboard too. But he needed them. He was short of men so he couldn't afford to loose two more.

"Emma, I saw the video of Hunter fighting last night. What happened? Are you okay?" "Yeah, I'm fine, Freddie. And don't ask me to go to the Aftershock auditions today. I am not feeling well." Freddie, of all people, understands teen parties. He practically encourages me to attend them for fame, followers, and friends. The three 'Fs' I am supposed to care about. Freddie never thinks about the fourth 'F' for fuck. As in, I don't give a fuck today, Freddie. "Okay, I will let Model Perfect know you aren't feeling well. What are we sick with today?"

I reached for the throw blanket. “You really think I wouldn’t notice someone lifting me?” came her voice, low and groggy. I jumped a little. Freya cracked one eye open. “I’ve been in a mafia house for more than forty-eight hours. My senses are heightened.” I stared. She yawned, then stretched like a sleepy cat. “Also, you’re not that subtle.” I blinked, then grinned. “Noted.” There was a pause. Then she sat up suddenly. “I want chicken.”
