It revealed Arthur's standpoint toward anyone wishing to harm the woman he loved. "Second," his voice unrelenting, continued with Arthur, "he murdered those completely innocent people. In the dark world, we are bad men, but we never kill innocent people." The distinction was clear: Arthur and those like him operated by a certain code, one that prohibited the harming of innocent lives.

Arthur stopped me from completing my words, his eyes flicked to Davis who's playing with a button on my shirt. "Baby, don't pull off the button ok?" "Yeah" he replied fully concentrated on the button. I turned my attention back to Arthur. "It's Thanatos.. he's here in Las Vegas" Arthur frowned deeply and his grip on the steering wheel tightened.. his eyes darkened in hatred. Arthur must have grown up ignoring his father’s wish, because instead of being King Arthur, he was just King *sshole. Arthur had been a little *sshole even since he was young. In fact, his sh*tty attitude eclipsed his son’s. He’d never gotten better growing up. He was a hedonist who drank and partied hard, and he never forewent the chance to violate a woman who caught his eye and unfortunately captured his interest. Zeus roared in frustration but I couldn’t look him in the eyes, I was dying of guilt but after hearing Declan’s name I wanted to kill him. “I---I'm sorry…” I cried peering down on the floor in embarrassment, he held my hands trying to snap me out of it, though Arthur was a no one to me, I was responsible for his death. The guilt I tried to shut down came back all together and I fell on the ground feeling remorse. “It was not a problem, even if you hadn’t told me this… I would still want you even though you commit the sin I’d hate, for example cheat on me. I panted, dazed and greedy, twisting back to wrap my hand around him, pumping slow through the spasms to chase every last shudder, my fingers slick and shining when I let go.
