7 Hours Novels & Stories

“O-okay…” “Come again?” “…okay, Carlisle.” He smiled. “Good girl.” Just like that, seven minutes was over.

I really wanted to see Ava one more time no matter what. If Zver was to find out or any other member of the pack, we would all be in trouble. "Take your left Edward," Charlotte said softly. "Alright." The man answered. "Hera, just a little more." She whispered. I opened my eyes and rubbed them gently. "We won't be stopping any time soon so embrace yourself because the drive will take about seven hours or more." She said seriously then looked at me in the mirror. "You can sit upright." She said softly.

"We have done this trip before. It will smooth out once we reach the tarred road leading to Duskmoor." Serafina sighed, resigned. "And how long till then?" "Another hour or so," Kira replied, then added, "And there are six hours total left until we arrive." Serafina leaned back with a soft groan. "Six hours left. Great."

"I usually go to all of them." Silence I glance up and find them staring at me like I’ve just admitted to running marathons in my sleep. "But… that’s like…" Zach starts counting on his fingers, his eyebrows knitting together. "That’s 24 hours a week… how the hell do you manage all that?" "Actually, I train for about 37 hours and 45 minutes." The words slip out before I can stop them. Dammit. I nearly groan out loud. My stupid brain just couldn’t resist showing off. Of course, I had to say the exact number.

And watched the sun rise through the corridor windows. After seven hours of darkness. Seven hours of fear. The sun was rising. And our son was going to live.

Twelve thousand, four hundred and seventeen dollars. Forty-seven hours now, if he was counting. He put the pen down. He went to bed. He did not sleep for a long time.

“Shit. You only get loopy like this when you’ve been here too long. Do you know what time it is?” I glanced over to the clock. “Seven.” “Morning or afternoon?” I blinked at her. “Does it matter at this point?” She rolled her eyes and pushed on the back of my head. “Sit up. Your face is turning red.” I let out a groan, my head spinning. She settled in against the counter. “It’s seven in the morning, which means you’ve been here for eighteen hours. Go home.” “Still two hours left.” Most of the time I loved our ten-hour shifts because I had three days off a week, but two shifts in a row was too much.

Slowly, it clicked into place. I closed my eyes and paid attention. “Two… three…” I counted the seconds in-between each goodbye. "Three hours," I murmured. "They change shifts every three hours." I closed my eyes again, counting the footsteps and how long the silence lasted after each goodbye. "Twenty minutes," I whispered, a flicker of hope sparking within me. That was the window I needed. By the time I opened my eyes again, it was night time. Time to strike.

He turned to spy the almost empty streets, running a hand through his hair. "With cuddling on the table, I can't say no." Standing and going to the small fridge sitting in the corner, he pulled out a bottle of water and went to stand in front of the window. "So you'll come?" He pictured her with her eyes wide open in excitement and chuckled lowly. "Yes. Just-" he glanced at his watch, "- give me seven hours." "Seven hours?! Sei serio?! Brandon, i'll be old with wrinkles by then!" He scoffed out a small laugh and pulled his phone away. Activating his bluetooth, he strode to his desk, dropped the phone on it and opened his water.

André glared at the doctor, and he fidgeted a little. “Thirty hours” The doctor gave a nervous nod. “Yes, Alpha.” “Well then, your time starts now…”
