Once we were up in the air, I shifted my gaze from the clouds below to Hayden, who had now closed his eyes.
"How long is this flight?" I asked, breaking the silence. His eyes opened, momentarily dropping to my lips before meeting my gaze.
"About seven hours," he replied, leaning back in his seat and shutting his eyes again.
Taking his cue, I leaned my head on his shoulder, trying to catch some sleep. However, when I opened my eyes, I found Hayden already awake, scrolling through his phone. Glancing at the time, I realized I had slept for six hours. It was now 1:30 p.m.
