The road from the training camp to the mission site was very long. Every day, the bus stopped for an hour to let people go to the toilet and eat, so the bus ran continuously for twenty-three hours a day; Many people took turns driving. But it took us four days to get there. Jared was now livid, and yet he still did not have a plan. It took her seven days and 12 hours, Jared counted. It did not take her a few days, she took her sweet time for exactly seven days, 12 hours and 15 minutes. By the time she arrived in their London Townhouse, Jared was on the brink of strangling her. He anticipated a few days of waiting time he did not expect it to be a full week. It was incredible.

“I’m holding too. Classes. House. Bridget checks that I’m still eating. Silas checks that I’m still compliant. Both true.” Silas’s eyes narrowed slightly at the wording; he didn’t interrupt.
