7 Of Pentacles As Intentions Novels & Stories

Amelia turned them over one by one: the upright Moon, the reversed Chariot, and the upright Devil. "Hiss." Eileen gasped softly, her expression changed. Amelia deliberately paused to create an uneasy atmosphere: "The Moon represents hidden truths and anxiety in the family. The reversed Chariot suggests conflict in family or relationships. And the Devil..." She paused: "Represents some kind of irresistible temptation." Eileen's fingers gripped her handbag tightly: "What... what does this mean?" "Are you sure you want to know?" Amelia asked softly, watching Eileen's reaction: "Once you know the answer, your anxiety will only increase."

I laid each card with intention: my current position in life, what crosses me now, hidden influences, what led me to this point, internal influences, what lies ahead, my current attitude, external influences, my hopes or fears, and the likely outcome. My current position was the queen of swords. Someone independent but guarded. What crossed me was the page of cups in a reversed position. A page of cups usually meant some sort of message about love coming in, but since it was reversed it likely was because I wasn’t ready to listen to it yet. What led me to this point was the six of swords, a symbol of leaving and cutting off the past, moving on to a fresh start. thats exactly what I did when

"The Sun. Presently, you feel lost and in a state of depression." The psychic's words cut through Sera to her very core, and she has to hide her shaking hands under the table. "You're letting your thoughts and worries thwart you and it's holding you back." "Temperance." The card depicts an Angel, wings outspread holding two cups. "Your biggest challenge is patience. You must relax, everything will unfold in due time. Worrying is not going to make your destiny happen any faster."

Where he lustfully marks within his eyes the words and command of their master as he speaks. “The major cards had already been set unto the stage as the minor ones are needed to follow suit. To our creator’s command and your master’s wish. He wants you to find the seven keys that represent the fourteen pentacles of the minor arcana’s. The fourteen marks deal with the creation and the inspiration of the deck of cards. As they are the most important pieces, He needed to open the seven gates of hell.” Understanding as his smile is a clear mocking stance towards him and the entirety of his existence. He smiles as he gladly accepts the command, with a courtesy bow of a gentleman’s way and with a

And she willed the cards to show her the best path for her to take. She had flipped only one card when she heard the knock on her door. Her hands stalled and she glanced down at the card, her heart rising into her throat. The Hierophant. Also known as the High Priest, or the Pope. It was often used to denote a mentor or teacher. A wise, tradition-bound older man. She could never look at the card without envisioning Galen's golden hair and blue eyes, even though that wasn't what the picture showed. The knock sounded again and Lydia scooped up the card and sat the deck on the nightstand as she scrambled off the bed. Then she grabbed an oversized T-shirt and pulled it over her head before she m

“A choice. A crossroads. Is that what led you here tonight?” Jin’s expression didn’t waver. “You tell me.” Vail hummed and pulled another card. The Tower. A chill prickled at Jin’s spine. The jagged spire on the card was engulfed in flames, figures tumbling from its heights. A symbol of destruction. Ruin. “Seems like fate isn’t on your side,” Vail said, almost wistfully. His fingers lingered on the edge of the deck, eyes gleaming in the dim light.

“But no babies?” “Ya’ll gotta draw by yaself fo’ dat.” Vermillion reshuffles, extending the cards to Lili first. “Umm-hmm. De empress, de queen of pentacles. Ya gonna have mo’ babies, Lili girl. Draw two mo’.” She waits as Lili complies. “Not so many as her,” she nods towards Kasey, “but dat sun an’ seven o’ pentacles means mo’ later on.” Shuffling the cards together, Vermillion extends them to Anna.

It was labeled the Ace of pentacles. “This decision will bring you a new opportunity. You will enter a change and gain new ventures and prosperity.” She collected the three cards and placed three more in front of me. I flipped the middle over again. Three of pentacles faced upright. Ryuu’s lip curled up as she looked at me. The last two cards flipped on their own. Ace of swords and judgement, both upright.

My insolence earlier, a potentially fatal mistake. The immaculate mother reaches over and flips the first card on the left in front of me. The card depicts a woman with a crown seated on a throne. In her hand she holds the sign of the pentacle. The star Asteria showed me as sacred to witches and magic. I struggled to maintain my placid expression, fear creeping in like a squid's ink in the ocean. The fear, a darkness, that grows rapidly. “You would make a good wife. Nurturing. Destined for a high status of wealth or privilege. Responsible.” She muses as she flips the middle card.

Once all five candles were lit, Hunter stood up and surveyed his work. The main entrance looked like a scene out of a cheesy horror movie, but it was impressive nonetheless. “What are the candles for?” Bella asked. “It's a pentacle,” he explained. “Simplest way to cast a circle. The north represents the dominance of Spirit which unites us all. The top two points represent air and water respectively and the bottom two represent earth and fire. The orientation is important because the hunters belong to the Kingdom of the Sun, which dominates the material world.”
