The entire clan looks at me with disgrace, if they even bother to look at me at all. My parents do their best to protect me from them, but every morning we all train together, and I can feel them stare, every day. I dropped to my knees beside him, one hand pressed to the wound, the other fumbling for my phone to call an ambulance. Julian closed his hand over mine and lowered the phone. "Ada. It's okay. I brought one." After Sheila had been pushed out of the music industry, she had had no income. Julian had been worried she would come for me. He had had her under surveillance the whole year. "This is my fault. I brought a whole team and I still missed." I grabbed his wrist. I couldn't get a word out, but he read me anyway. "He's going to be fine. He saved you, which means he saved me. Then he sighed, his face relaxing, as if resigning himself—gratefully—to no answers. “Besides that, most everything else has been settled. Got some loose ends can’t be explained, course. Like how Bobby Mavis managed to call 911 from your Tracphone despite the spotty service out there, then pass out again, all without remembering him doing it. I call Gideon and I ask him "How can an organ can help me ease the pain of my cramps? You mean the music will decrese the pain? I don't get it. Please explain." The 999 show is finish and it was replace by a show named Lucifer but when Gideon saw that I am wide eyed staring at this actor who has an unknown but attractive accent and asking what I desire he switch the show immediately to power puff Girls.

Chloe asked. “A 911 call doesn't go through here, we will take him.” Clyde replied and lifted him, he carried him out of the room and Audrey remained on the floor in tears. “Come on.” Chloe said and pulled her up, they both walked out and Clyde passed the back so they won't cause a scene. They were out of the club in less than a minute and Clyde carried Damien into his car and drove away immediately. Audrey entered Chloe’s car and she drove after Clyde.

“Please. Do it now.” I hung up, immediately calling Oak Park PD myself. They confirmed they’d received the report and were dispatching an officer. I paced the room, one hand in my hair, the other gripping my phone like it could tether me to her somehow. “Come on, baby,” I whispered to the empty room. “Pick up the damn phone.” Silence. I stared out the window at the Dallas skyline, the city lights glimmering like they were mocking me. “Every time shit starts going good…” I muttered, voice breaking. “Something comes along to tear it apart.”

She was guarded, fearful that I would discover evidence to lock Ryan up. I turned around to leave, having no desire to talk further. I pulled out my phone and asked my assistant to find the victim's hospital. Within ten minutes, the assistant sent me not only the hospital’s location but also detailed information about the victim. "Does it hurt? Lucas is trained in Muay Thai. Of course it hurts… Why is he like this? What did you do wrong?!"
