The Way of the Dragon

The Way of the Dragon

His eyes flickered with killing intent, and the corners of his mouth curled into a cruel sneer. "We actually didn't encounter a single treasure on our way here. I presume you've taken all of them by yourself, right?" "Hurry up and hand over all your Magic Treasures, and I'll spare your worthless life!" Barbie's attitude was truly arrogant to the extreme, and he was ready to fight at any moment. Zephyr Khan said indifferently, "Is this how your Iron Fist Academy bullies others? Is this how arrogant you are?" "That's right! So what if we're arrogant and bully others? Because we have the qualifications! Look at the clothes you're wearing, you should be from the Heavenly Law Academy, right?"

Selected By The Half-Blood Prince

Selected By The Half-Blood Prince

He wants to ship me off to this bloody academy so he would continue being Alpha while I'm learning what exactly? This felt like exile disguised as honor. A way to get me out of his hair while he consolidated power. The thought made my blood boil. Bullshit, just bullshit. My eyes hardened with anger. Then I heard Riven continue, "The following names are chosen to come study at the Academy." He started listing names from each pack starting from Firstfell and I saw him call Tyrion's buddy from earlier and then finally he got to Grimwell. "Caden Gallen, Kaiya Wilson, Gretchen Everton

Hush:The Secret of the Wind

Johann queried “I don’t know captain, I was told by uncle to call you quickly, the other professors are having a hard time holding him off, but they are putting up a fight thanks to Joseph Debra. But it’s only a matter of time before he reaches the dorms.” “How did a barrier get erected inside the academe?” Yahya asked. It was a question that was also running inside my head. The academe cannot easily get infiltrated, so no one can erect a barrier from the outside there was only one answer. “It was the traitor,” someone from the door spoke. It was Luther.

The Tyrant Emperor and his Eccentric Mage

The Tyrant Emperor and his Eccentric Mage

Alexis, who seemed to just get caught up in the mess she was in quickly, nodded. "I-It's okay. I forgive you", she awkwardly said, wishing for the situation to disperse already. "Give us another guide. I don't want to see your face any longer Bentley". Alastair demanded and poor, trembling Bentley left and appointed them a guide. Who seemed just as shaky and nervous as anyone who came into contact with Alastair. The magic Academy was basically a university campus. It was huge, and confusing. They took one turn and there would be tens of rooms on a single floor.

ALPHA ACADEMY:MARKED BY FOUR

ALPHA ACADEMY:MARKED BY FOUR

His coat was torn, his expression unreadable, but his eyes gleamed faintly violet—the mark of someone who had seen too much and survived anyway. “You found her,” he said when Vale and Cassian approached. “She found us,” Cassian muttered. “Blew a crater through half the Vale doing it.” Malachai’s gaze shifted to Lyra. “You’ve changed.” Lyra frowned. “You keep saying that like it’s a bad thing.” “It’s not bad,” he said quietly. “It’s inevitable.” Something in his tone made her stomach twist. *** They camped by the old wardstone—a broken relic of the Academy’s original barrier. The sun never rose fully here anymore; it lingered between gold and crimson, flickering as though it couldn’t decide w

The Alpha Heir's Fake Mate

The Alpha Heir's Fake Mate

Ivy lets out a small genuine laugh, her posture finally relaxing as we move through the classroom corridors. I came to this place expecting a cold, survival of the fittest nightmare, but within twenty-four hours, I’ve somehow managed to acquire a loyal tracker and a sweet rebel wolf who hates pack bigotry as much as I do. It makes the looming shadow of the academy feel slightly less suffocating. Yet, despite the pleasant distraction of Lucian’s tour and Ivy’s chatter, my thoughts annoyingly keep drifting right back to Damon. Knowing he’s some deposed northern prince makes my zero-spark summoning session feel even more pathetic. Of course the universe would saddle me with the guy who was lite

Property of The Alpha

Property of The Alpha

It was for some academy that Balor wanted to build, allowing beings from all walks of life to join and train. It sounded like a crazy idea, but I was only half listening as I assessed every individual here. The one I kept finding myself returning to was a beast of a male. His dirty blonde hair, grey eyes, and a mean scar across his left eye were among the few things that made him intimidating. He had furs draped over his shoulders and a warrior look about him. But what really set me on edge was how unpredictable he looked. And not the Balor kind of unpredictable but the type who would mark you as an enemy without your knowledge and kill you in your sleep kind of unpredictable. "-let's vote t

Great book!!! Good plots with minimal grammatical mistakes that can be overlooked. Just wish the antagonists final battle could be more epic as it was kind of anticlimactic hence less half star. Will look out for the next book

Wow. Mrs.rie has done it again! Another fantastic book. I am so excited to see how this ends. I love that she included some characters from her previous series. Colette and Zane are such a power couple and I just love how badass everyone is! If you haven’t read this yet, what are you waiting for!!?

The Slave Queen

The Slave Queen

I'm not proud of that, but I'm really glad that he's not as angry as he was before. Cassandra had told me of his temper, and I'd foolishly almost pushed him right over the edge. I insulted everything he lived for. The barbarians are a life of crime. They are born of blood and death, sacrifice and fault. I stand as he opens the door to the hallway. I follow him outside, hearing the bustle of soldiers in red cloths and blood acting as body paint rush down the hallway with spears, knives and khopesh swords in their hands.

How it Ends

How it Ends

I am not entirely sure if these Academy myths truly worked or were simply myths at all. Eventually the Barbarian’s numbers lessened, I could already see some staggering away and running back through the breach in the wall. We all cheered as the last one ran off into the breach and began to breathe easily; some even began ransacking a food crate that was sitting nearby. But like every jolt of happiness in this world, this one was short lived.

I looked at the old alpha; that uneasy feeling in my stomach swirled around like an anxious animal trapped in a cage. “They sent guards. The Barbarians are already here.”
