Katherine mumbled, frowning at the calmness on Jada's face. Soon, Andrew and Jada sat at opposite ends of the table, each with a laptop in front of them. They began to type furiously, drafting their proposals. Jada drew her breath, taking time to research and outline the parts of her business proposal, build the title and table of contents, write her executive summary, get into the project details, list the deliverables, milestones, and budgets, and then craft the conclusion and appendix. The tension in the room was palpable as the second turned into minutes. Family members watched with bated breath as Andrew and Jada meticulously crafted their pitches.
