A Business Proposal Novels & Stories

“I need to round off with this proposal”. “It’s been dragging for too long”. Back at my office, I sat at my desk, drafting a proposal for the Brooks franchise’s latest pitch. There was this contract I and a few other companies where competing for. So I was trying to take my time, ensuring every detail was perfect, with no error in sight as I was determined to impress. My fingers flying across the keyboard, my eyes scrolling through some samples. Just as I was done drafting, my phone vibrated.

I looked up at the board standing next to Harper James- my only rival at this very moment- and sighed. The last task for the promotion was out just a couple of seconds ago and a frown took over my face as i read the paper on the board. "Congratulations to the two managers who have made it this far. The final task is as followed. The two managers will have to submit a business proposal made with the investors they brought in for the second task. The business proposal should be submitted by the end of this week and if the deadline is missed, then the business proposal will not be accepted.

He presses the button by the table and a waiter came in to take the order and immediately left. " Let's get down to business, here are my proposal for the project and I would like you to go through it and let me know if there are things you would want to be included and those not needed so that was can start work immediately," I said to him as I gave him the document I have prepared for him.

He handed Bree a folder. Even Bree couldn’t understand the man’s behavior. He looked like someone who was either about to cry, have a bowel movement, or simply couldn’t sit still. Bree was surprised when she opened the folder. It was a business proposal. From the way it was written, Bree immediately knew that someone highly knowledgeable in business had prepared it. She was impressed by how professionally it had been put together. It was written in excellent English. But what she couldn’t understand were the incredibly low prices.

If there was a huge crowd having a rally inside my head, they were all shut up while waiting for Bree to drop the bomb on their feet. "So, I sent him a proposal regarding collaborative events and package deals, bright, right?" She giggled. "It's a good thing you arrived today, I was hoping it would be earlier so you wouldn't face him looking like someone just gave you a suicide mission. But uh-- I think you'll dig it." "You sent him a business proposal? Bree, what were you thinking?!" I didn't mean to raise my voice, but this situation was making my blood boil. I was freaking out in a pretty way.

"A part-time or freelance. Or an actual partnership. What do you think about this proposal?" I stared at the woman, wondering how fast her brain worked when it came to business proposals and why she was so concerned about them, as if she had a personal relationship with them. We were discussing one thing and now we ended up having a business proposal?

She set the tablet down and slid a manila folder across the desk instead, the motion unhurried, deliberate, the same way she'd handed me contracts before that ended up changing the entire shape of my life. I opened it. A business proposal, glossy and professionally bound, Olivia's name printed across the header in elegant serif. Olivia Noir — Series A Funding Proposal. Fifty million dollars in requested startup capital, projected growth charts, a launch strategy clearly built by people who knew exactly how to make numbers look inevitable on paper.

I say, standing to shake his hand. “The pleasure is mine.” His voice is smooth but firm, his grip strong. I motion for him to take a seat. “So, what brings you here?” “I have a proposal,” he states. “A business partnership.” I arch a brow. “And why should I consider it?” “Our companies have been the top players in the industry for years. A partnership would solidify our dominance, benefiting both sides.” I lean back, studying him. “I appreciate the offer, but I don’t think a partnership is the right move for my company at this time.”

he said. I smiled faintly and clinked my glass against his. “To punctuality next time.” He laughed. “Ouch. Fair enough.” After our plates were cleared, Marcus leaned back and cleared his throat. “Alright, Ms. Amber,” he said with a grin. “Let’s talk business.” Finally. I sat up straight, pulling out the folder from my bag. “Here’s the full proposal,” I said, sliding the documents toward him. “The project involves…” For the next several minutes, I went over the details; the timeline, the investment model, the projections, and the legal agreements. Marcus didn’t interrupt once. He just listened, his expression focused, occasionally nodding as I spoke.

" you are extremely rich but that doesn't mean you can turn back time?" He chuckled " that's true, but I can be able to restore your relationship with your family, I would tell the world why I did this, clean your reputation and what ever you want, name it" Eduardo said, staring at her, a glimmer of hope, lit in her eyes as she consider his proposal, if she refused to continue this, she would barely survive, no one in America would hire her, she might be kicked out of college but if she accept his proposal she has a lot to gain and recover what she had lost, this was truly once in a lifetime opportunity. You expect me to trust you after what you did?" Lisa asked, still skeptical of Eduardo's
