Romans & histoires A Court Of Silver Flames Pregnancy Chapter

My wolf struggled, no longer from pain, but from rage and awakening. I opened my eyes wide, and the world had changed. Everything was sharper, brighter. I could see the individual threads of power that connected each pack member. I could see them flowing to Damien and his father. But there was something else—a silver light emanating from my hands, from my skin, pulsing in time with my racing heart. “What the hell…” Alpha Thorne began, but his voice was drowned out by a thunderous roar. I looked up. The full moon, already unbearably bright, blazed like a supernova. Silver light cascaded down, touching no one else. Only me. The protective spells of the ceremonial circle broke, ancient magic sh

I didn’t care about the medical terminology. I stood over the steel-reinforced medical pod, my hands gripping the edge of the metal frame so hard the alloy groaned and warped beneath my claws. Down inside the sterile sheets, my four-year-old son was vibrating. His chest was hitching in rapid, agonizingly shallow patterns, and beneath his pale, sweat-soaked skin, faint, tracer-thin lines of iridescent silver light were pulsing erratically along his veins. The Silver Fire. The curse of my bloodline.

I listened intently, my heart heavy with empathy for the trials she had endured alone. "I didn't know I was pregnant until four months ago, and then, I was four months pregnant." Silver admitted, her voice laced with a mix of vulnerability and determination. "It was a surprise, but I couldn't imagine my life without this baby now. And now, with Simone... I'm scared, Alice. I don't know what they want or what they might do to him." I placed a reassuring hand on Silver's trembling ones, offering her a small smile. "We'll find Simone, Silver. Liam and I won't rest until we bring him back to you, to your growing family. Trust us."

A loud crash filled the air as a cabinet slammed onto my body. It hurt so badly that I awoke from my unconscious state. I had no time to worry about the sharp pains all over my body. I tried hard to figure out what was happening in front of me. Yet, the dense smoke in the air choked me and left me unable to open my eyes. I could only cover my mouth while coughing aggressively. That was when waves of pain stirred in my lower abdomen. I instinctively shielded my stomach with my arms. "My baby… Hang in there!"

For the first time since discovering her pregnancy, she felt it not as a weight to carry, nor as something to protect at all costs, but as something standing beside her. Fighting with her. Kelda stepped back. “Try again.” Vivi inhaled deeply, pressing a hand against her lower stomach. The warmth of her daughter’s presence surged in response—a quiet agreement, a promise that she was there. That she belonged in this power, too. She focused again, calling to the fire as before… but this time, she didn’t force it. She accepted it. Golden flames curled up her fingers, stronger than before. They didn’t flicker or waver. They held, steady and vibrant.

When she got time for me she was already tired from her training. "Momma was so furious at you. She was worried about the heir you were going to give to this realm in the future." Silver said in a serious tone. She zoomed out saying it as she was still there. Fear fisted my chest. I shot on my feet. "Was I pregnant?" My heart and pulses hammered in my ears. "No," Elizabeth said. I let out a heavy breath and took the seat. My legs were shaking. "Are you okay?" Silver rested her hand on my shoulder.

Orion had already told his lovely pack members about his sister who was rejected by her mate and that was why this doctor is treating me with some kind of sympathy. I turned my head to the other side of the bed, disinterested in whatever she had to say next. At this stage, all I wanted was to just be alone. But her next words shocked me. “Seems like you’re pregnant,” she said, “after testing your blood to see if any traces of silver could be found I—” I interrupted her with loud shushing noise, my eyes wide with fright and my finger on my lips. My eyes darted around to see if we were alone and fortunately we were.

And as we step out into the sunshine, I know that regardless of what challenges may come our way, as long as we face them together, we can conquer anything. As Silver and I settle into the cozy comfort of the parlor, I can sense her lingering apprehension despite her attempts to appear calm. Determined to lift her spirits, I pull up a chair beside her and reach for my laptop, eager to show her the beauty and wonder of motherhood. “Okay, Silver,” I say with a smile, opening up a web browser. “Let's take a journey into the world of motherhood and all its amazing wonders.” She nods, her gaze fixed on the screen as I begin to navigate through various websites and forums dedicated to pregnancy an

The flames crackled, as if in approval. She turned another page of the codex and frowned slightly. The following passage glowed brighter than the rest, its letters pulsing faintly with light. The blood of the flame responds to life carried within. A mother’s fire doubles. The bond multiplies its strength. Her pulse quickened. “Doubles…” If that was true, then her own power—once limited and unpredictable—might now be amplified through her pregnancy. The thought made her skin prickle with energy. For the first time, she didn’t feel afraid of what she could do. She felt ready.

The warmth of the flames seemed to beckon the past forth, and I began. "You see, Silver's history is a tapestry woven with tragedy and perseverance, a tale that echoes through the ages of our kind." I narrated the tale even as I looked for clues that could help me find Lilac, my mate. "Long ago, Silver's family belonged to a pack steeped in tradition, where the howls of the wolves harmonized with the whispers of the trees. They were devout worshippers of the Moon Goddess, their lives entwined with the celestial dance of night and sky. And at the heart of it all was Silver, half wolf, half witch. Born from an Alpha father and a witch mother; a beacon of devotion and purity, entrusted as the p
