A Marriage of Swords

A Marriage of Swords

He looked at the now-plume of dust rising from a new scar on the mountain’s face. “It’s done?” he asked, his voice hoarse. “The chasm is a tomb,” Duncan coughed, spitting out dust. “And a furnace. The Wheel is broken.” Leigh was staring at her hands, which were shaking. Not from fear, but from the aftermath of terrible, necessary violence. Makil sat beside her, his own body humming with adrenaline and a profound, bone-deep weariness.

Twisted Fates In A Tiger's Eyes

Twisted Fates In A Tiger's Eyes

I shielded my face with my arm as the light from the hallway cut through the gloom, flickering torches and the sharp glint of metal. Through the haze stepped a figure in black armor, fast and fluid, her golden braid whipping behind her like a flame. “Dahlia?” I breathed. Her eyes. Sharp, golden, and unrelenting found me instantly. But before she could take a step forward, Dylan was already on his feet again, sword raised. “Stay back!” He barked. She didn’t. They collided with the force of a storm. Steel met steel, the sound deafening in the enclosed space. Sparks flew as Dahlia’s twin blades cut through the air with lethal precision. Dylan parried, but she was faster, far faster.

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

Maya exclaimed in the stands. Xander also nodded secretly. After getting a place for the competition, it was evident that Omar cultivated hard again. As Omar approached Trevor, he let out a long roar, "The Dance of Fire and Ice!" Omar's Dual Blades of Fire and Ice slashed out dazzling sword lights. In an instant, the surrounding air was covered with ice blue and fiery red light. Then, as if being washed away by crushed ice and flames, the cold and scorching air swept through alternately.

What happened to the original writer of this book? The new writer is a far cry from the first one in terms of style, creativity, dialogue and story telling. He has turned a once very arresting story into a very boring one. It is sad.

Claimed by the silverfang alphas

Claimed by the silverfang alphas

It sizzled, rejecting the offering like spit on a hot spider. "Damn it!" Vida screamed, sweeping a stack of crystals off the table. They shattered on the floor. "It won't take the blood! It's locked!" "Then unlock it," Daxon growled from the fireplace. He was leaning against the mantle, nursing a tumbler of bourbon that he was refilling for the third time in an hour. His shirt was unbuttoned at the top, revealing the angry red scar of the blood rune on his chest. He looked like a man holding onto sanity by his fingernails.

Betrayed By My Alpha Mate

Betrayed By My Alpha Mate

The crowd quieted once again, as though the air itself held its breath. He lifted a ceremonial blade, forged of moonsteel and so sharp it sang in the silence. “Kara and Dylan,” the elder said, “extend your hands.” Dylan gave me a gentle nod. I swallowed hard and held out my palm. The blade met my skin, slicing through it with a sharp, icy sting. I winced as warm blood spilled into the bowl. Dylan’s blood followed, and then the elder pressed our palms together, fingers locking. Our mingled blood shimmered with a strange, silvery glow. The air around us thrummed as though the room had become a living thing, inhaling with us.

The Triplet's Bullied Mate

The Triplet's Bullied Mate

I surged forward, my movements fluid, faster than I thought possible, the fire blades singing through the air. Our blades clashed—not metal to metal, but fire to steel. Sparks erupted around us, a shower of molten gold and silver, illuminating our movements. Our dance was fast, furious, violent, a dizzying blur of offense and defense. He pushed me hard, his movements precise, calculated, but I held my ground, meeting his every thrust, every parry, my own movements sharper, more instinctive than the last. The fire blades pulsed with every deflection, every blow.

Sword of blood

Sword of blood

Exactly as seen earlier in the castle. The sword. “What does that one do?” I asked, pointing to it. “It drinks blood. For anyone it kills, their blood is stored in the blade. You would try to always have a clothing between you and the hilt” That did not sound more beneficial than fairy dust. “So how useful would it be to protect me?” With only a smile, “very” Time to close the deal. “I have one silver coin” playing with the coins against my fingers. “Make it three and we have a deal”

His Rejected Mate, His Contract Wife

His Rejected Mate, His Contract Wife

"They think Amora is a bitter ex-wife trying to destroy the family name. They think Katherine is simply insane. Today, the entire Southern Territory will see the exact truth." Remus opened the wooden chest, pulling out a small, ceremonial dagger made of black obsidian stone and a shallow silver bowl carved with ancient pack runes. Duncan took the obsidian blade. Without a single blink of hesitation, he sliced the palm of his right hand open, letting his rich, dark Alpha blood drip steadily into the silver bowl. He then stepped toward the cell bars, extending his bleeding hand through the gaps. "Remus. Force them to bleed into the bowl," Duncan ordered.

Dance of Roses

Dance of Roses

Sean said before he made a rose appear seemingly from thin air, “A beautiful rose for the even more beautiful Claudia.” At those words Claudia’s expression darkened and she stood up causing her black gown to swirl around her matching the stormy look in her eyes. “What’s wrong? Did I say something wrong?” he said while wondering why Claudia wasn’t teasing him about being corny like she normally would. At that Claudia looked at him and took the rose from his hand but said as she pricked her finger with a thorn, “Yes, a rose is beautiful, but it is dangerous due to its thorns. Like the rose, I may be beautiful, but I am a predator of the night. A monster wrapped in a pretty skin.” As she finish
