The Night's Embrace

The Night's Embrace

“I’ll be right back. I’m going to make you a quick cocktail. It’ll heal you up, painlessly.” Whatever it was, it sounding fucking great to her. Hell, it sounded like the best thing ever. Lily wished she had some the first time around. “Okay.” BY THE GODS THERE Nothing more aromatic to ever hit his nose, than this female’s scent. Roses and embers. Something so incredibly unique, so incredibly delicious. Caspius looked at his friends. Some friends they were. A shifter, a vampire and an incubus walk into a bar. Caspius rolled his eyes. Just thinking about their odd pairing sounded like a bad joke.

He moved to sit beside her on the bed. "That was the Gillie Callum, or Scottish sword dance. The man who put the swords down on the floor tonight had to be a Scot. He winked at me, so I believe he recognized my dancing." "I can't imagine Charles or your mother allowing you to dance about with swords on the floor," Phillip teased. She laughed, leaning against his bare shoulder.

The Sword Master Only Wants to Protect

The Sword Master Only Wants to Protect

They didn't stop even for a second. If anyone saw their fight from the side, they would think it was more like a sword dance than a fight because of how wonderfully precise their moves were. With Valienne's graceful moves and Rion's strong advances, also the flash of light and occasional explosion from the blast of demonic energy and spirit energy gave an even more mystifying effect. It might be the most dangerous and deadly sword dance if only they were both doing a performance. If there were anyone else in that place right now, they would've been stunned in their place before they could do anything else.

The King's faceless wife.

The King's faceless wife.

He had his top off and from the way the leather vest was left discarded at the center of the training hall, I could imagine that he had ripped it off of his body at the hit of the moment. Even though Barlion was breathing heavily, I was surprised to see that he still held his ground. The sword in his left hand moved in a smooth manner, almost as Sir Hunder's sword. I leaned closer to the door as I watched the match go on. But I leaned on the door a bit harder that it made a crick as my weight pushed it in. Barlion was the first to look over to me, giving Sir Hunder the upper hand in the match. The Night Sword used the small distraction to smack the Prince ring on his back with the flat of hi

I’ve been hocked on this story. Glad I started reading this book when it was completed though because I also hate with a passion the waiting for updates. At first this Bar, future King needed a royal kick in the behind did he really think she had a choice in any of this.

I LOVE this book! It’s the only book I’ve really kept up with that wasn’t complete yet when I started reading it I waited for the daily updates and I’m not the waiting type. Usually I lose interest after awhile but this book hooked me in and continued to keep me hook. Thank you for this amazing book

Tides of Passion: The Pirate's Curse

Tides of Passion: The Pirate's Curse

Steel clashed against steel in a cacophony of desperation, the moon overhead casting an eerie glow on the battlefield. Amelia Knight's chestnut hair was slick with sweat as she parried and thrust, her sword finding the gaps in her foes' armor with practiced precision. The air was thick with the smell of gunpowder, the crack of pistols punctuating the night like deadly percussion.

The Night embrace

The Night embrace

Blue hesitated for a moment, a mix of curiosity swirling within her; every rational thought urged her to turn back, to retreat to the safety of her room, but his pull was too strong to resist. With tentative steps she approached him, the distance between them shrinking as the shadows danced around. "Sir?" She finally managed to speak, her voice barely above a whisper. Damian stepped into the light, his eyes deep and enigmatic. He leaned against the window frame with a playful smirk dancing on his lips as he studied the woman before him. The soft glow of the dimly lit corridor accentuated the curves of her figure, and the sheer fabric of her nightdress clung delicately to her skin. It was a s

Spirits of the Night

Spirits of the Night

Scarlett nodded, feeling uncertainty grow inside her. The next morning, as everyone woke up and the sun barely lit the camp, Alex had already made a decision: he had to protect Scarlett no matter what. What happened the night before hadn’t been an accident. The gorgon who had almost drowned Scarlett was a princess of the lake, and although Alex still didn’t understand why she had attacked her, he knew there had to be a reason—and he had to find out. And that meant that, at last, he would have to tell Scarlett the truth about the supernatural world… and about who had attacked her the night before. Scarlett stepped out of her tent with Leslie, feeling the morning chill on her skin. At that ver

[Second Repetition: The Limitation of Technique. The scene reset. He once again felt his sword in his hand, moving in the graceful Dance of a Thousand Shadows. Every slash felt perfect, the culmination of his years of training. Then he felt the sickening sensation as every one of those slashes was deflected, as useless as trying to cut water.

Night-Blooming

‘I’m being abandoned. Her hands were itching as she closed her eyes and summoned her weapon. A long, double-edged sword with a black blade and silver handle. For a brief moment the clouds cleared up, and light came into the forest again. Ayla would have liked to appreciate its beauty better, but her hands moved on their own to cut the roots that kept her still. “Wait!” She followed the woman who was walking away, but the woman did not stop, and as she faded in the distance, Ayla’s surroundings became cold, frost spreading from her feet to the rest of the forest.

Dance with a dead one

Dance with a dead one

But I know that the next day she will come and will pretend that she doesn't hate me because Jack is paying her good money for her job. I took my phone and turn on the song "'the Neighborhood-Afraid" I scratched my neck a little bit from one side to another, I step around a few steps and began to dance. I raised up my leg slowly than with one hand I easily grabbed it and spin around myself, my back was relaxed for the first time and I didn't push myself to think about choreography anymore, I just swam in the music with my dance, and my movements felt so easy, my body felt so calmed and organized. I finished my dance and tears released from my eyes, but I quickly wiped my tears.
