Now I was returning there—and I wasn't sure I was prepared for what we might find. The sun was setting when we arrived. I knew we had to find something soon if we were going to find it. We got out of the car and exchanged glances before proceeding to the cabin where the witches Amelia, Syliva, London, and Eden were buried. As we walked across the field, I felt a chill run through my body that had nothing to do with the wind. As we got closer to Eden's grave, I noticed that it was the only one that was open. When I fell backward into a sitting position against the cabin wall, alarm bells went off in my head—my worst nightmare had come true. What if this was her plan all along? What if she was

I went to lunge in her direction, when the earth shook under my feet and as I turned Beta Winston ran in front of me, followed by Russ and Steve. My eyes shifted to Hera, her face contorted with anger as her words bellowed out, “sisters remove them.” I blinked as all three were lifted into the air and as 9 witches held their right hands up as if chocking them. My anger rose and I took a step, only for the ground to shake and the Moon Goddess herself stood behind me, but her scent was Amelia’s and my heart clenched in my chest. She shouldn’t be here was all I could think about as I heard the goddess’ voice boom out, “ENOUGH.” My eyes widened as the Goddess Hecate was standing next to her.

She paused and lowered her voice to a whisper, “When the alliance of supernatural creatures rose up against them, they didn’t go down without a fight. They cursed us all, promising that one day they would return through bloodlines, through vessels. And those souls that were consumed by their magic… they weren’t destroyed. They were bound.” My throat tightened. “Bound? To what?” “To the house they were burned in,” she said. “Their souls were trapped there, waiting for someone that carries one of the witch's bloodlines to open the door.” A chill ran down my spine. “Zoey… she was connected to one of those witches? She—she must have found that house.” Aunt Belle’s gaze was grave. “If Zoey is a b

"I don't want you to pay what Edward said that day any mind, Allyson. It's true. Some witches helped the wolves win the Purge, but they wouldn't have infiltrated my coterie if I hadn't let them. My father was powerful. Even before the World vampire council was formed, there was never any doubt that he would be on it. He was a leader. At that time, vampires lived together in a community separate from the humans. In packs, if you would. I was nineteen when we found Dorothea unconscious by the river close to our borders. We took her in. When she woke up, she could only remember her name. She didn't even know she was a witch. We tried to help her locate her family, but no one seemed to know who

He blinked fast, as if still dazed, but when he tried to speak, nothing came out, only the soundless movement of his lips. Damn it! The mute spell. “Speak!!” I yelled, flicking my fingers at him. Sound returned with a harsh gasp from his throat. He coughed, swallowing hard, voice raspy when he finally rasped, “So you're one of us, Louisa.” “That's not the answer to my question!!!!” I barked, extending out my hands. “Ok…ok..” he said in panic. “Celine Ryder is one of the witches who wants to destroy the alpha bloodline of Alpha Scott, for what his ancestors did to one Agnes Hale.”

When I woke up, I was in an underground cell chained with silver, there was no means of escaping. I really wanted to see the face of my kidnapper. Who would dare attack an Alpha werewolf? I tried escaping from the chains, but they would not bulge and I was getting weaker and weaker. It was at that moment that I prayed for a miracle from the Moon Goddess if she would listen to my prayers. It wasn't long before the door rattled, and I was hopeful that it was someone who would rescue me. I thought wrong. It was my mate's Father, the leader of the witches coven. I was surprised to see he was behind my kidnapping.

And then—she vanished, her form melting into the darkness like smoke. I collapsed onto the ground, coughing violently as I clutched my bruised throat. My entire body trembled. My mind was screaming, but all I could do was turn my head toward Beth. She was still there, standing at the stairs, her face pale as a ghost. “We need to go,” she whispered. I nodded, forcing myself to my feet despite the burning pain in my limbs. I grabbed Beth’s hand and pulled her toward the stairs, my mind racing. Suzan was gone. But the witch wasn’t finished with us yet.

AURORA'S POV There was a huge mansion in woods which was white in colour with cream interior. The place gives a warm vibe but I know from far that this is going to be a hell of a ride for me. I should find a way and escape from here as soon as possible. I couldn’t escape in car because I was all panicked and was not that good in teleportation spell. I needed some time in peace so that I get the spell to work but the nerves ponding against my skin made me dumb as they said what a weak witch I am. My parents would be really disappointed in me. As soon as I was thrown into a dark room my restrains were opened letting me feel my sore hands. These motherfuckers tied them pretty tight. The darknes

"It's your promise, Sevina... You must never break it." The words from the late Queen hovered in her head as Queen Sevina mused about her decisions. She had given her word to the previous King and Queen and it was a rule among the witches to always live up to their promise. If she did one thing that would betray them, she would lose her immortality and her freedom... she would be sent back to Mysticia and will no longer be given the chance to see the humans again. It was one thing she didn't want to ever happen, and that was why she took the risk and agreed to everything.

"When Hope was in the coma, Abagail came to her in her mind. I heard her with my own ears. If she can come to Hope then I can go to her!" Leo still had the paper in his hand he finished it and handed it to Brody. " I think it's worth a shot, Hopes aunts. What were their names ,Lidia and Hannah? Maybe they would know how to connect with Abigail. It is obvious Hope was trying to cast a spell on herself. What better way to find out about a spell than to go to the witches themselves?" "I will have to go with you to the coven." Leith said. "You will not get in on your own."
