The Lycan Prince’s Puppy

The Lycan Prince’s Puppy

Just as she was about to speak, a wave of cold, wicked laughter filled the space, sending instant shivers through my body. Adelaide gasped, her expression hardening. “We don’t have much time,” she said urgently, looking around. “Hold my hands.” “Who was that?” I asked, grabbing her hands. “And where am I?” “You are in the Veil,” Adelaide explained. “We are not alone here.” “What is the Veil?” Adelaide shook her head, her grip tightening. “We don’t have much time,” she whispered before her eyes began glowing again. “Wait, no—“

A year has already passed, and the book is still not finished. Although it is very well written (except for the chapters where the action drags), I have started to get bored. I keep waiting for “ the war that ends the world” but it never comes.

I used to wait for the chapters but now it is unnecessarily dragged on. Author builds up for climax so nicely but unfortunately it never comes which leaves reader frustrated and at some point gives up ( like me). Seems like lot of tease without any ending.

Veiled Obsession

he invites, his tone laced with a calm authority. For a brief moment, she hesitates, the weight of uncertainty hanging in the air between them. But then, drawn by an inexplicable trust, she places her hand into his, feeling the warmth of his grip as he gently guides her out. The world around them is alive with the sweet whispers of nature, the faint floral scent wrapping around her like a delicate shawl. Yet, before she can fully take in the vibrant hues of the blooming landscape, he produces a silky blindfold from his pocket.

The Moon Goddess Treasured Child

The Moon Goddess Treasured Child

The guardian led the way, his presence a beacon of light in the encroaching shadows. As they walked, Marinetta felt a growing sense of unease. The forest around them seemed to whisper, the trees creaking and groaning as if alive. She could feel the weight of the ancient magic that permeated the air. After what felt like hours, they emerged into a vast clearing. In the center stood a towering stone structure, its surface covered in glowing runes. The Nexus of Veils lay before them, its power palpable. The guardian turned to them, his eyes glowing with an inner light. "This is the heart of the Veil. You must place the key on the altar to restore the balance."

The Alpha’s Barren Pup

The Alpha’s Barren Pup

"Since you've accepted the gauntlet, you'd best brace yourself." For the next few mind-bending minutes, Akira outlined the basic geography and hazards I could expect in the Veiled Valley. Warped terrain that defied normal spatial logic. Strange glamours and illusion magics bending light and perception itself. Deadly spectral guardians and apex predators unlike anything in the outer realms. With each increasingly bizarre, threatening detail, I felt the first lavablooms of dread pooling in my gut. What sort of eldritch nightmare realm had I signed myself up to brave? Could I truly keep myself and my unborn litters safe against such cosmic perils?

Lupus Noctrine: Symphony Of The Cursed Lycan Quadruplets

Lupus Noctrine: Symphony Of The Cursed Lycan Quadruplets

$$\mathcal{R}_{true} = \mathcal{R}_{mundane} \oplus \mathcal{V}_{distortion}$$ In her mind, the equation of reality was no longer a single line; it was a complex XOR operation. The "True Reality" ($\mathcal{R}_{true}$) was the "Mundane" world XORed with the "Veil’s Distortion" ($\mathcal{V}_{distortion}$). For thirty years, the Veil had been the dominant operator, hiding the scars of its expansion beneath a layer of boredom and routine. "They didn't just hide magic," Evangeline realized, tears of white light streaming down her face. "They hollowed out the Earth. We’re driving across a shell. There's nothing underneath but the Hive."

THE ALTAR WE BURNED

THE ALTAR WE BURNED

A tense confrontation ensued, words sharp and veiled threats hanging heavy in the damp air. Isabella stood firm, her voice clear and unwavering. “The truth belongs to all, not just to you.” One Elder stepped forward, his eyes cold. “You do not understand the power you meddle with. The Veil is not a mere artifact. It is the boundary. To cross it unprepared is to invite ruin.” Arthur’s hand found Isabella’s, a silent promise of solidarity. Together, they refused to back down. The standoff broke with a sudden, violent tremor shaking the chamber. The veil began to pulse, glowing brighter. A force beyond comprehension surged through the room — and then, darkness.

THE VEILED BRIDE

THE VEILED BRIDE

I knew this veil. Not from this store, not from this morning. From years of waking up reaching for something that was not there. From a sketch I had made so many times that the paper had worn thin in the same places each time, the sweep of tulle, the way it moved in a wind that only existed in dreams, the particular quality of the light coming through it. From a prophecy delivered by a woman who did not waste words, who had looked at me across a fire and told me that my bride would find me behind a veil and that she alone could break what was destroying me. The veil was exactly right.

signifies, Agatha, the first witch and the mother of all witches." Her eyes, serious. "What you are about to see is a secret that has been guarded for generations. These women are part of my coven, and they have been waiting for you." With a deep breath, Soraya pushed open the door. The room beyond was large and circular, it was illuminated by the warm glow of large candles arranged in a pentagram on the floor. The air was thick with the scent of incense. As Seraphine stepped inside, she recognized some of the women she had seen earlier in the village. They all stood in a circle, their faces illuminated by the flickering light. It turned out people from different packs were here, each woman
