Hades. Just the name had been bouncing around the insides of his skull all day. He had barely been able to concentrate on any schoolwork. How was he, James, supposed to stand up against a force such as that, a god with immense power and creatures at his disposal? The answers would not formulate in his mind and James felt incredibly vulnerable. Even his dreams weren’t safe.

Her eyes never fluttered away from the dark forest. She wanted to know more, she wanted to explore, see, and touch the black soil which held secrets. But she could not. They say the devil himself resides within the dense never-ending woods of that forest. Men and Women were sacrificed for their evil deeds to the god of death over the board. Stripped of their humanity and taken to hell by the evil. She felt her body shiver, the sacrifice of a villager she once saw while young. She could not imagine the pain of the people.

I was different, if it existed I could conjure it up. I think that's why I was able to fall in love with Luther. Gods could only be with there own kind. There was some rules though. Neutral god that weren't good nor evil could be with whoever they wanted but a god like The god of light could only be with light or neutral gods. A God like The God of War could only be with evil or Neutral gods. It was about balance.

I said nothing hoping that I would finally get the answers to my questions. “ They, being the gods above—like, Alstha, god of war and knowledge; Eccasto, god of intelligence; and the others. But your kind know only two among all of them: Fate and Luna, known as Mother Luna,” he said, taking a step towards me. I remained rigid, letting him play with a strand of hair.

The three Pillar Gods in question were the God of Knowledge, the God of War, and the God of Healing, while the Goddess was Ayja, the three-eyed Goddess who created the world and humans. Harriet turned to the altar and saw another statue behind Ayja. It was a statue of a tall man with long hair. “Oh,” seeing Harriet staring silently at the statue of the tall man behind the statue of Ayja, Reverend Derek tried to explain, “In our belief, isn't there one more god recorded in the scriptures?” Harriet nodded. The god standing behind Ayja was the main God worshipped in the Palace Church, the God who created the Dragons… the Great God Andrius.

I said with a smile as I took in the expression of wonder on each of their faces. “What? You didn’t think God would let paradise go to waste just because a stupid girl ate an apple, did you?” “At this point, I’m willing to forget anything I thought I knew before I met you, love.” Blake had already wandered ahead, carefully inspecting his surroundings, but Aiden remained by my side, his grip on my hand still firm. “So, God is real then?” Aiden asked as we wandered through the garden. “Of course. God, Zeus, Jupiter, Odin… whatever you wish to call him. We know him as the all-father.”

He stroked his chin. “You got that out of that mess?” I couldn’t believe he could understand it all. “Well, I’ve been a god for a few hundred lifetimes. You pick up a thing or two about the riddles of the other gods. Besides, Kali is a goddess that is more like a mother than a reaper. So more than likely, it’s a good soul that is in turmoil.” His eyes seemed to pierce through me, “You can’t think of anyone that would fit that description, can you?”

Five sound meant that he was a True God. Although many people present didn’t care much about the so-called True Gods. The True Gods were, after all, the top-notch existence of human beings. After all, they were the three supporters and executors of the order of the world. But now, this "unassuming" good-for-nothing could actually make the bell ring five times.
