You will be strong enough to face what's coming for you. Be strong Kate" She said and gave up the ghost hours after dad's death. The book is still with me now. Really safe with me. Just had to wait next year for me to open the book. I sighed and kept walking, don't even know where I should go. A car drove pass me and eventually stopped in front of me. I stopped and waited for some seconds. The driver came out and opened the back door, there the weird living thing came out.

Why is my wife being so cute?“ ”Shut up, it wouldn't get me at all“ ”Let's go eat before the food gets cold“ *screen zooms at the very last page of the bool* A book is not just a piece of paper. It is a whole new world. A different dimension. A teacher that would show you things and teach you. A friend that would comfort you and save you. A vehicle that would bring you to a far far away land without even moving from where you are. Just like a journey filled with thousands of different car. Going to various of places that is very far.

The kind of book made for very young children, for the earliest years of school.

I have no idea where this was but I wasn't that curious. I just needed to wait for him to come. I looked down and finally bought out the last thing in the bag— The small book. I smiled gently when I recalled how this book had come about. At that time, Leo had won a game against me, and when I asked what he wanted, he requested this tiny book because he had seen other children in the pack own it. I chuckled after opening the first page and saw the drawing. It was a miniature picture of little Leo which he had drawn himself.

It felt strange, how something so small could pull at me like that. We kept walking. Somewhere near the corner shelf, I stopped again — a thin book caught my eye. The First Year: A Guide for New Parents. I reached for it, running my thumb along the spine. Pages soft, edges new. I flipped through — pictures of fathers holding babies, smiling mothers, small notes on feeding and sleep routines. For the first time that day, something in my chest loosened. “You know,” the storekeeper said, glancing at the book, “most fathers come back for that one. They say it helps.”

When my shift ended, I found myself walking toward the corner table where Kael sat, his laptop closed now, a book in his hands. I stopped short when I saw the cover. ‘Knot We Cannot Untie.’ That was the book he was holding. I can't believe that Kael would be reading one of Linda Lively’s books. “You read… this?” I said, the surprise evidently in my voice. Kael looked up, one brow raised. “Why? You think I only read racing magazines and bank statements?” I gave a small laugh. “Chill bro. It’s just… not what I was expecting ”

I turned it on, but there was nothing good. It was 11 o’clock. The truth was that I was a little bit tired, but I didn’t want to sleep without saying goodnight to him and thanking him for his hospitality. I remembered the library in the small room. It was full of books. I could find something to kill my time while waiting. There were different kinds of books. From history to fiction, and fairytales, but what caught my interest were a bunch of books right in the middle of the selves with black and golden binding.

That's why it's no wonder they loved him so much. "Would you like to see our little library?" She asked me happily so I smiled and nodded. She then led me to a hidden place and opened the wooden door. This room is small and only a few people can fit. The whole room is full of different books, but it can be seen that all of them are old and out of date. The smell of old books is so addicting. I looked at the books around me, almost everything I touched was about different types of medicine and how to use them.

Some of the books are in Latin and other foreign languages. I retrieve a copy of The Little Prince from the shelf and smile as I open the book and realize it’s a first edition. A very old book for sure, but one of my favorite books of all time. I learned a lot of life lessons reading that book as I grew up. And I read it at least once a year. It doesn’t really matter how old you are, that’s a must-read.
