A Way To Survive

A Way To Survive

Because he knew in advance that death would come to him, he was unafraid to observe this strange place calmly. It is a room with four white painted walls, no windows on the walls, and nothing in the room except a bed. He stared at the closed gray iron door and waited for the arrival of the Red Leafs. When those people appeared, he knew he would have to face the worst of his short life.

The Death He Never Died

The Death He Never Died

There, right beside my husband Brandon in the photo, was my so-called best friend, Melissa. … Snapping out of it, I stared at Melissa's two-faced expression. She must have known about the lottery win by then. They had probably plotted the whole thing, faking his death to pocket the cash. "Noelle, don't take it so hard. You're already unwell. What if Brandon's death makes you worse?" I shrugged off Melissa's hand and asked with eerie calm, "Where's Brandon's body? I want to see him." Melissa blinked, thrown off by my composure. "In the ward," she stammered.

Dying in Three, Two, One

Dying in Three, Two, One

I didn't receive any messages or notifications that my follow request had been approved. I sat down and looked at myself in a handheld mirror. I watched as the numbers above my head slowly counted down. I had three hours to go. I wanted them to be with me on my last day in this life; I wanted to know how they would react when I died. Maybe they would be pleasantly surprised—no one cared about my life or death, after all. They were my family, but they despised me with every fiber of their being. I brought the food to the table and waited. Some oil had splashed onto my hand while cooking, and it hurt. It didn't take away from my excitement, though.

Alpha Went Crazy After I Faked My Death

Alpha Went Crazy After I Faked My Death

The timed upload of the recording was my final "testament," my farewell to this absurd soul-bond that had brought me nothing but pain. I had scheduled multiple videos and documents to release over the coming weeks, ensuring Alaric would face a slow, relentless unraveling of his carefully constructed facade. When the first video unleashed a storm of public outrage across werewolf social platforms, I was already far away, sitting in a modest cabin in a pack territory three hundred miles from my original homeland.

My Death Was Just "Drama" to Her

My Death Was Just "Drama" to Her

It was my death certificate. Mom picked up a pen but didn't sign. Instead, she threw it heavily to the ground and tore the document apart until it was in pieces. She said, "I'm not signing it. Flora isn't dead! Why should I sign a death certificate for someone who's still alive?" Then, Mom yanked Cindy up from the floor. "Come home with me. Flora pulled this stunt when she was younger. She jumped into the river and made everyone think she was dead. And what happened? Didn't someone send her back the very next day?"

DYING ONCE WAS ENOUGH

DYING ONCE WAS ENOUGH

The girl in the glass looked like someone who is not afraid of anything again, even death. Because she had. “You already died once for them” she whispered to her reflection. “And that is enough” She turned away from the mirror Head high Step steady. A slow smile crept on her face. “The game,” she said quietly to no one. “Has just started” And she walked away like nothing happened. She met Warren outside the door. “Did you just cry?” Faith didn't answer. Warren kept on following her. “Keep your distance” her voice was quiet. “Walls have ears”

The Don Thought I Was Lying While I Was Dying

The Don Thought I Was Lying While I Was Dying

" Scott broke down completely. "Please stop..." His hoarse voice sounded crushed. "I'm begging you. Please stop..." My tears splashed onto the back of my hand. "Scott, three children. I became a mother three times, and each time, I watched one of them vanish from my body before my eyes. "So heaven is punishing me too. Since I could not protect them, I will never be able to have another child." I took out my infertility report and held it out to him. He braced his hands on the wheelchair arms and tried to stand before taking the report with trembling fingers.

The Death of Me

The Death of Me

I tried to say as I stared at the brown eyes looking at me. He tsked, "It's so sad, isn't it?" He said, a wicked smile over his lips, a smile so familiar, "To die and not even know who killed you." I felt like a vibration in my chest, a little bit of pain spread from where the shot went, it was little only. His hand still over the gun, the other he held my arm and inched his face closer to my ear, "It's so iconic, isn't it? For you and your father to die at the same time." He pressed his finger over the trigger and fired again.

My Only Way Out, Is To Go So Far In

My Only Way Out, Is To Go So Far In

So I did. The police investigated and put out a search party for them and everything. But always came up empty-handed. We were all devastated and held a candlelight vigil for them. Which raised awareness and gained some media attention. The grief hit me particularly hard because Stanley was my very first friend. I’d known him all my life. He was like a big brother. And I had a budding secret crush on him, too. Also, our moms were close like sisters! My parents sent me to my grandma’s house to get a break from everything. It was working. I wasn’t so sad anymore. She lived in the suburbs of a semi-rural area. Being surrounded by nature put me at ease. But two days later, we got a call that not

Flying Death

Flying Death

They carefully pile up some fingers to send to the gambling dens until Mick growls, signaling everyone to back off. I wasn’t sure how the bastard was still alive, his heart was barely recognizable. Mick trots to him, staring down into his bleak eyes. He’s on his back now, his guts exposed. A quick swipe across his face with a claw draws blood, coating Mick’s paw. I had no idea what I thought I’d feel at this moment. But I just feel dead. Because there are so many more Stephen Millers in the world. It’ll never be enough. Mick growls so loud, it practically shakes the room. He bares his canines, wanting them to be the last thing this piece of shit sees.

This book has everything in it. Steamy lovemaking, family, danger tigers and more. This book is unlike anything I've read before and it exceeded any expectations I may have had. Brilliant author who never disappoints.

I really enjoyed this story. Your werewolf stories are so different from the typical ones. This one was more like gangs and MCs. It makes it unique. I loved it. I would really love to see a sequel for this one.
