𝐏𝐎𝐕 𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐀 I was reading a book when I realized I hadn’t understood a single line. The book remained open on my lap. My eyes moved across the words, line after line, but nothing made sense. It was as if I was only passing over them… without truly absorbing anything. I let out a soft sigh. I turned the page anyway. Automatic. The room was silent.

It looked nothing like any book I'd studied before. "What is this?" I muttered, running my finger over the strange text. Just then, I felt a slight tremor. Opening my eyes a crack, I watch as Gideon tilts his head to get a better view of the page. “Interesting,” he murmurs. “Of all the pages in this book, you turn to that one.” I open my eyes the rest of the way and look down. There is a picture of a person sitting in a ring of crystals. I don’t even need to read the title at the top to know what it says.

Muttering under my breath, I bent down to pick it up, eyes scanning the shelves absentmindedly. Then, a subtle irregularity caught my eye—a bookshelf that didn't quite align with the others. Intrigued, I approached cautiously, fingers tracing its edges for any hidden mechanism. Heart pounding with anticipation, I tested different books until one, weathered and different, shifted under my touch. With a tug, the shelf slid open noiselessly, revealing a narrow, dark passage. My fingers were starting to cramp from turning the pages so fast. Aiden stood near the door on a lookout in case anyone was coming. The book was an ancient one from the looks, it had latin words and strange patterns written all over it. The only understandable word was the bold 'Garou' written at the top. I touched the book in Crescent's hand expecting to get the same reaction, but i didnt, it was just normal. I guess the book knows what it's doing, it wanted Crescent to open it. Scratch that, it wasn't normal, the feeling of touching the book was different from the feeling of touching a normal book. It felt like the book had a life of it's own. "Should we open it?" Crescent asked." I don't think we should, we aren't supposed to be here in the first place" I said and he agreed with me, then he put the book back in it's p
