It was the best kind of job for me, I loved it and I got paid weekly, enough to eat, after my first paycheck, I had spent a full week starving, I tried to ask for my money beforehand but my boss who’s the meanest person ever, said no. How could such a cold hearted person be responsible for one of the best places in the world! There was no sleeping with a storm outside, I was up most of the night, I was up early and ready to go to work, I was slipping but pushed it down as I got out of her car and quickly walked over to the bookstore. I walked over to the children's books area, I was thankful no one was around as I sat down in a beanbag after grabbing a few books to read.

Suddenly Allen's cell phone rang indicating there was an incoming message and it turned out to be from Zeyn. My Perfect Husband : Honey, you're ready, huh. Later, we will check your content and take a walk so you don't get bored at home. Allen smiled reading the message, even at work, Zeyn was still thinking about Allen. Zeyn is the perfect husband. Without waiting, Allen immediately replied to the message saying that he would get ready. And without lingering, Allen immediately went to the bathroom, he didn't want Zeyn to wait for him a long time later, especially since Zeyn was tired of working.

I walked to Cata’s store, enjoying a perfect morning. I had barely slept, but it didn’t matter. The birds were singing, the clouds carried a clear decision in my mind. I was FED UP, sick of being the fool who put up with everything. The only bad thing about thinking I’d been deceived was remembering every moment with Maël (especially my thoughts about him), feeling somehow like a traitor with no right to complain. But the good side of it all was that I wouldn’t demand answers from anyone. I would end it, cut it off at the root. And the blessed shoe store filled that space of sanctified waiting.

Messy. Desperate. Like two people who didn’t know how to speak the same language but understood this—this—perfectly.

I said, my voice shaking with anger. Feeling overwhelmed, I started walking toward the door, desperate to get away. But then a thought hit me. “You say you want a perfect life with someone else? After treating me like this, do you really think I’ll ever trust another guy? Let me remind you—perfection doesn’t exist. Everyone has flaws. Imperfections are what make us human.
