Black Bullet Volume 7 Novels & Stories

In his life. I slid out of bed quietly, my legs still aching from the night before, and padded toward the soft glow coming from the kitchen. I didn’t know what I expected to find, but it wasn’t him leaning against the counter, bare-chested and half in shadow, nursing a glass of water like it might drown his demons. For a moment, I just watched him. Dominic Blackwood wasn’t beautiful in a traditional sense. He was all sharp edges and hard lines. A man built like a weapon, forged in fire and sharpened by circumstance.

"Don't wait for us! Take the elite team and get my niece and nephew! Secure them! Move! Move! Move!" Before the SUV had even come to a full stop near the trailhead, the passenger door was ripped off its hinges. Fennigan didn't climb out—he exploded out. Mid-air, his body distended with a sickening crunch of bone, fur bursting through skin as his frame lengthened into the massive, silver-tipped beast of the Blackwood Alpha. He hit the ground on all fours, the earth cratering beneath his weight, and vanished into the thick timber like a vengeful storm.

CHAPTER XXIX: Struggle We all charged together to the tower, using our mighty weapons to cut and slash every vine coming to our direction. However, no matter how much we try to destroy all of these burning vines, they just keep on regenerating. “Celestial Magic: Crazy Bullets!” Nicanor insanely uttered while riding on his celestial spirit, Scorpio. Then, he used his shotgun, Doomsday, to release rapid-fire bullets to the tower. His attacks reached the target and explosion came after one another.

She screamed and hid behind him when she saw us. “WHO ARE YOU?!” Big Boss exclaimed looking back and forth on us. I take a good look at him. He looks like the same age as me. “It’s not for you to know.” Black Dragon answered pointing his gun to him. I gripped my own gun, ready to use it if needed. Big Boss is about to move while the woman positioned to run. Black Dragon spoke. “Move even an inch and I’ll blow your heads simultaneously.” His voice sounded cold and emotionless. I looked at him and was startled to see his face expressionless. He looked like a professional cold blooded killer. Big Boss and the woman froze. Black Dragon turned to the woman.

Screaming at the hunters coming toward him with bows and swords. To only hear a voice that made everyone go still. "Stop" Just one command and all the hunters bow down. And that's when Volkan's grey eyes met the dark black ones of the man behind everything. Daniel Black The leader of Hunters stood in front of him. His face emotionless, not caring of the bloodshed of the innocents he just committed in name of ending the werewolf specie, which according to the humans were heartless beasts that are to be eliminated at all cost.

The doctor simply wrapped my hand for me. "Ms. Houston has psychological problems. She needs to see a shrink." "I see. Thanks." After they left, only Jeffrey and I were in the room. I lay on the bed, looking at the ceiling indifferently. My soul seemed to float outside my body. Jeffrey was sad when he saw me like this. "Audrey... Please give me a chance to make up for you." That tranquilizer seemed to work. My heart used to be dead. But now I could remember even the most horrible days.

Dad grabbed the nurse, throwing her out of the room alongside himself. "Well-done, Emily, you have accomplished your mission." A sinister scent emerged, a wicked laugh echoing across the room. The once blue sky was now a mixture of black and white with the moon reflecting its radiant image. Wails filled the air as a ray of light fell from the sky, hitting a mountain on the other side of town. I groaned, wincing as my hand was scorched by the flaming book. The pages settled, words in red appearing on the pages. "Strigoi, Nosferatu, Jiangshi…"

Meanwhile, Adrian came to my side, and looking at me with more questions, he picked me in his arms. «she needs a doctor, now,» he said and escorted me to the open room, Atlas’s room. I held on to him, it felt weird, he was angry, warm, and afraid, and fear radiate out of him. He placed me on the bed and I felt a bolt of pain in my left arm where the wound was healing, making me scream my heart out; I looked at my hand, seeing black veins covering the wound. «What is that?» asked Hunter. The pain was unbearable, but I knew what was this, black blood, I have been marked.

I clenched my teeth and braced myself for what I am about to witness next, only to let out a breath when the black wolf was ripped off of her and a majestic gray wolf sends him flying to the back of the cave. The gray wolf growled thunderously and he pounces at the black wolf who suddenly looked smaller compared to him. Zanicus. I could tell with his cobalt blue eyes and aura changing as he tears the wolf apart, limb by limb. When it was all over, he shifted back and quickly moved to Cora’s side. He whimpered when Cora coughed blood which slid down from the corners of her mouth, and her eyes crying blood as she clutches her stomach. “Cora?” his voice barely sounded like a whisper.

Blake raced back to the castle, flying faster than he ever had, eager to get back and help his people. Now that Scarlet was safe, Blake turned all his attention towards helping the others. As he reached the castle, he looked down and saw complete mayhem: it was an all-out war, as hundreds of vampires battled each other below. His people were terribly outnumbered, attacked from all sides, and Blake was crestfallen to see that, with the battle barely begun, several of his people were already dead, their bodies thrown over the edge of the castle.
