Crystal’s face in view, faint and glowing. “So close... so very close,” the Queen whispered. “When the mating ceremony is complete, her power will peak and she will be mine.” A figure stirred in the shadows behind her—a cloaked stranger. “The spell you gifted George worked,” Elira murmured, “but now the final stroke must fall. When the bond seals, she’ll awaken and be vulnerable.”

The witch’s enchantment did not feel like sleep. It felt like drowning in warm, dark honey. My thoughts thickened, my limbs turned to stone, and a seductive whisper coiled through my mind, promising that surrender was peace, that struggle was pain. In her rage, she summons the magic again, and tears the moons apart into little stars. She rides across the sky now and then in flashing streaks, still seeking her love.

But that would explain the very pointy ears. I thought you guys were a myth.” "Of course we exist. We aren’t creatures made by fiction. Come here." She said. I said, "I can't climb that tall tree." And then she sent the little elves down to surround me and on her command, they lifted me all the way up to where she was sitting. She was sitting on such a sturdy branch.

She motioned to the elves standing beside her, and they swiftly apprehended us. “Don’t,” I said firmly to Josh as he tried to fight the elves off. I let them capture me easily. We needed them to know we weren’t a threat, and knocking out a few elves wasn't going to win us any points. Thankfully, he seemed to catch on and allowed himself to be restrained. “You must be the two werewolves I’ve been looking for,” said the queen, coming closer. She wrinkled her nose as she took in the state of our clothes. “I am Neva, Queen of the Ivory Court of Fae. Who might you be?”

Upon the day temptation is too strong, a terrible act of cruelty shall bring forth an end to the magic vessel and the return of dragons. “See you when I see you. My blessing upon you,” Queen Lenna said, ending her song. Draco and Astrid were escorted out by the Elf Warrior back to the Elf village. They were escorted by teleportation power to a nearby village. After finishing delivering Draco and Astrid, Elf Warrior said good-bye and left by teleporting back. They booked lodging rooms to stay and rest. Draco laid down on the bed. His mind was still wandering. The song sung by the Elf Queen stuck in his mind. There's a hidden clue there. But what was that?
