Scald Crow

Scald Crow

Bernie took a sip of the coffee. “You humans and your misguided values. A eugenicist decoded the book in hopes he could remove all the handicapped, and the slow-witted from the world. A single word changed the entire intention of his spell. Avalon and earth have combined into a single realm. In short, magic has returned to earth. As have all the creatures of legend and lore.” Bernie asked the question on everyone’s mind, “Do humans have magic?” Elphame rose from her chair and gripped Bernie’s double chin with a bejeweled hand, “Are your eyes normally blue?”

The Tales Next Door

The Tales Next Door

She started telling him about her job in the publishing company, and how she wanted to become an author and write mystery novels. He could hear her speak all day and not get tired, he thought, as he stared into her eyes and nodded. “Oh, I’ve been talking continuously. You must be thinking I’m so rude. You tell me something about yourself," said Tia, keeping her cup down and looking intently at Kabir's face. Her entire focus shifted to him as if she did not want to miss a single word that he uttered. Kabir’s face started turning red. He did not know what to do. Now, thought Kabir, she would ask him why he did not speak. He would have to tell her the truth, and out she would go from his life f

A TALE OF BROKEN THINGS

A TALE OF BROKEN THINGS

Tonya was winking as they closed in on him, she knew. Thaddeus smirked also, his plan worked out perfectly. They soon meet and began walking together, their voices stopped the croacking toads in the damp corners. And then the ringing of the Cathedrals bells drowned their voices out. The swans in the river paid no attention to these hourly chimes. The silver moon, however, took notice of the tunes of the bell and rose from behind the traveling clouds to light up the sky and send silver ripples across the Isis as the rain began to fall.

Magic Academy: Finding My Mate

Magic Academy: Finding My Mate

"And what does that mean?" "It means the magic realm will no longer be safe. Magic Academy is on natural grounds, but..." Hayden scratches the back of his head, eyes appearing concerned before he continues. "The teachers are of different species, and so I don't think it's safe to stay here either." "Oh..." I take a deep breath. "And since you're the vampire prince, you're probably the least safe."

The Tale of A Villainess

The Tale of A Villainess

"What kind of sorcery is this?" Rong Yi shakes the pocket watch in disbelief. "H-Hey! That belongs to my long lost brother.. He lived a good life until a witch trapped his soul within that magical stone," He sniffs. We all exchange glances. That sounds sketchy and fake. "Can I see?" I ask. Rong Yi hands me the pocket watch carefully. Uh... "..." Seriously? Magic stone? Witch? He can't pull this trick on me. What a white lie!

Damn, I cried because of this book😢😭 But the ending......the author leaves us our own imagination about the ending. This is the best book I've read so far which made me cry and laugh. Nice scenes, nice characters, nice plot. Overall, it's an excellent story. Thank you so much, author😍😘💗💖

This was very well written. No unnecessary and prolonged details. I think my only wish would be an epilogue that contained some more details wrapping up a few things about what happens in the future. I loved this book. I really did.

The Pack's Rebels

The Pack's Rebels

Nothing she had offered had been of interest, and the torture had been worse and worse with every rejected offering, until she had blurted out about the cuffs and how it contained her mother’s magic. “All magic?” Beupraxia had asked her, her voice sharp with interest, and her raised finger preventing further torment. “Yes,” Meguitte had promised fervently. “All magic.” She had recreated the spell for Beupraxia, grateful for the temporary reprieve from pain, pretending that she did not know how it would be used – to hurt someone else. That someone had been Thaelen.

Awakening Prime

Awakening Prime

"Truth or dare, new girl." She hated me because she was a witch and I was a magi. She practised dark magic and I practised elemental magic, well a version of it. I hadn't mastered any of the elements yet which was why I was a magi. You are promoted to mage only when you master an element and to grand magus when you master them all. There was a school for that, I vaguely remember from when my mother had told me.

Bringer Of Darkness

Bringer Of Darkness

Taryn "Bring Werod back to life?" asked Taryn surprised. "Werod is just a legend. A story to scare children." "Behind every story there is a kernel of truth, Your Majesty. For example, children are told the stories of great warriors with extraordinary magical powers and we ourselves are led to think of magic as a frivolity, as a story created just to entertain us when we were children, but the other day you saw what happened. You saw what you did."

Alpha Rejected Slave Omega

Alpha Rejected Slave Omega

******* Belle – POV I entered our old home in Minnesota, the place where I grew up, living amidst humans with my mom. She had told me she acquired this home after I was born, after her exile from the White Wood Pack. Stepping into the familiar yet antiquated apartment sent a wave of nostalgia through me, the air laden with myriad memories. My mother used to embark on missions, leaving me in the care of our neighbor, a kind-hearted elderly lady who would prepare delicious meals for me. As I stepped in further, my heart leaped seeing a woman seated in a chair, and instinctively, I summoned my magic.
