The Grace of a Thousand Stars

The Grace of a Thousand Stars

They're like robots, beings created to have no emotion, and they're beings that judge souls once they've perished; They decide if a soul goes to Heaven, Hell, or reincarnation. Of course, I've not died so I've never seen them, but Vivian seems to believe in them, seeing as how she's saying she'll kill Cordelia to let her soul be judged by the said Sustainers. "Put her down." Malachi calmly spoke with his gun pointed at Vivian. "Brother! What are you doing!" Maxwell shouted, rushing past Halcyon and to his older brother, but he stopped short in his tracks when the pointed gun shifted from Vivian to himself.

The Life Rebirth

The Life Rebirth

Every day at lunchtime, I remember our moments together. Even here, a million miles away, she plagues me. Gianna! Maybe this is part of my penance; this suffering is worse than any death. It's like dying slowly, bit by bit every day—sort of like what I'd done to Felice and what I plan to do to the others. So maybe I was paying for my sins while here, so I won't have to pay for them in my next life. Please find me in your next life, Gianna! I'll wait for you there. ***

A Lifetime With Her

A Lifetime With Her

Leo. He called out, "Darla, from here on out, you're dead. You died trying to escape on my ship. When I go back, that's the story I'll tell everyone. I'll mourn your loss, but I'll also make sure no one suspects the truth. You were a stranger who paid me to take you somewhere, but you didn't make it. You're a ghost now, a secret I'll keep to protect us both. Are we clear?" As I turned to leave, a mix of emotions swirled inside me - grief for the life I was leaving behind, fear of the unknown, and a glimmer of hope for a new beginning.

The Seventh Life Of The Soulbound Villainess

The Seventh Life Of The Soulbound Villainess

I sat in a maintenance corridor for an hour with my back against the wall and my knees drawn up and my hands pressed flat over the place where the threads had erupted. No, I thought. Clean. Immediate. Total. Not because I was brave or smart or because I had some special knowledge that the other versions of me across whatever lives the threads implied hadn't possessed. But because something in the deepest part of whatever I was — older than this body, older than Verath Seven, older than anything I could name — recognized this moment. Recognized the specific quality of a detonation that announces the beginning of something that has always ended the same way. I had done this before.

Framed Every Lifetime

Framed Every Lifetime

My entire body stiffened. A chill rose from the soles of my feet and spread through my limbs. I stared at him fiercely. "How do you know about my rebirth?" He knew about my countless loops. He knew the pain of being trapped in them. So who was he, really? Calder kept smiling as he slowly began to tell a story. Time rewound to a rainy night two years ago. Fresh out of university and newly entering the workforce, Lyra won an award at her very first company annual gala.

A Thousand Lies

A Thousand Lies

My whole body is numb, and all I can do is cough and sneeze. As soon as I get to land, I lay on the cold snow in a ball on my side. I can't feel anything. Maybe I am going to die. Freeze to death. Here lies Temperance Andrews. A pathetic nothing that died with no one to care about it. I close my eyes, not caring what will happen. In movies, there is always a person telling the other not to close their eyes. But no person is telling me that, so why should I care? ******************************

A Lifeline Cut by My Family

A Lifeline Cut by My Family

I drove my car to a friend's auto repair shop for a routine inspection after my father, Nathan Ashley, finally returned it. He'd borrowed it for a month and even stuffed the trunk with boxes of local specialties from his hometown. A few minutes later, my friend slid out from beneath the car, his face drained of color. "Lyla, who did you piss off? Someone cut halfway through your brake line." A chill raced through my body as I pulled out my phone and called my father. "Dad, someone cut my brake line." The sound of poker chips clacking echoed through the phone. He answered without the slightest concern, "Oh. I had Lillian do it. That old junker of yours was falling apart anyway." My voice

A Lifetime Devoted to Luna

A Lifetime Devoted to Luna

The house was completely dark. Owen hadn’t come home. But his social media had been updated. I clicked into the post. "The most precious gift: to love only one person for a lifetime." Attached was a photo—a hand wearing the diamond ring. The same ring Owen had taken this morning. It fit perfectly on that woman’s finger. The comments flooded in below. "Isn’t this Luna? How are you posting on Owen’s phone?" "Haha, you haven’t heard of the news? Owen drank too much tonight and wouldn’t let go of Luna’s hand, saying wherever she goes, he’ll follow. They’ll never be apart again."

The Alpha's Cinderella

The Alpha's Cinderella

"If you choose the path your heart desires, a challenging journey awaits. Loss will linger in the corners of your life, sacrifice will be your guiding light, and death will follow your every step." The shabby hut seemed to absorb her words, and a chill settled within me. The air held a sacred silence, interrupted only by Alicia's deliberate words. "Yet, if you face the challenges bravely and move through the shadows with determination, a reward beyond mortal understanding awaits you. A love that goes beyond the limits of time and space, destined to echo through a million lifetimes."

The Luna's Last Rebirth

The Luna's Last Rebirth

I ask him in shock. “I have never hated you or blamed you, not once. My actions were my own. But yes, Laney… I lied about my name. I was known as someone else in your first life. After I lost you, I was broken and needed something new.” I pause and rewind listening to his words, the Luna in me needing all the truths, the answers he has been refusing to give me. But Laney, lonely little Laney who has never felt worthy of love, clings to one sentence. ‘I have loved you a in a hundred lifetimes.’ I am in my hundredth lifetime. The last lifetime. And he… he loves me…?

so far the story is fast paced. I am at chapter 33 and the book is moving fast with lots of imaginative twists; this book is far more than a love story to an angst female. The author is definitely in the top 3 of all time authors; not just GN paranormal authors, but favorite of all anytime all genre
