“Well, I don’t.” I ran my finger across the spines of some books and selected one—the title was “The History of Witches: From Soothsayers of Historical Courts to Modern-Day Frauds”. I added that one to the growing stack in my arms and kept walking, picking up my pace this time.
Zane chuffed and jogged after me.
