The Second Chance

The Second Chance

The girl chose silence, even though this made her beloved uncle disappointed. "Something must have happened to you and that idiot, because the Abby I know is an independent, intelligent woman who always speaks up about whatever she feels. Are you the same Abby or someone else who pretends to be her? You must return My Precious to me, because she is so precious and can never be replaced." “Uncle G, this is me. I am the real Abigail Laurentia Verz. No one pretends to be me."

HIS PRETENSE BRIDE

HIS PRETENSE BRIDE

I can't say if this gasp came out of shock that my abductor is a woman and not because I have been caught running off. When the gracious woman looks up, she looks confused while I stand here with my hands on my mouth and my eyes wide, expecting her to call security to bundle me up and tie me to a chair as a punishment for wanting to escape. She tilts her head to one side. "Who are you?" Who am I? You kidnapped me and you are still asking me who I am? Really? She is wearing a long lavender gown as though she is going to a dinner party. She looks elegant and young but I am sure she is in her mid-age.

Tuberose

Tuberose

Having recently been declared a billionaire author, she had announced her open mic conference at New York City Hall, and the world was buzzing with anticipation. As she makes her way down the stairs, Abigail is dressed in a stunning light green gown with a sweetheart neckline, her wavy hair cascading down her shoulders. The gathered crowd, including the enigmatic Michael, awaits her arrival under the open sky, seated in rows of arranged chairs. It is an evening of grandeur, where the beauty of New York City blends seamlessly with the beauty of the night. Initially, observers speculate that Michael is perhaps the owner of the publication, standing at the forefront. But as Abigail's radiant fa

Nice story so far. Keep it up author but I think author should improve in her tenses and grammar. The story is nice one, I like the way she gave glimpses of what would happen in the story in the future. Nice book and story line author, keep it up. But Michael seemed pompous for my liking.

The story is great, the way you portrayed how your closed one (best friend ) can turn into a foe with time, how in one second everything changes and it hurts when you know you are right but no one trusts you. Well done btw, good luck

Married a Secret Billionaire

Married a Secret Billionaire

"Ms. Abigail, the intern is currently working on the film studio project. I've heard she's hardworking and well-liked. By the way, she studies architectural design and has published several theses, earning numerous scholarships..." "Can you tell me her name?" Abigail inquired, looking at the back of the photograph. "Is it this one... Lina Jenner?" The assistant nodded with seriousness. "How did you find this out? Can we trust the information?" "I-I found it after seeking a lot of assistance!" Abigail furrowed her brow. "Did you get scammed?" The assistant blinked innocently. "Ms. Abigail, I don't think anyone scammed me for this!" Unbeknownst to the assistant, she had made a terrible mistake

I've only read two books on this app. This is the second and by far the best one. The storylines are fluid, the characters are endowed with personality and most importantly the writer makes them come together seamlessly. Ideally, this is what the experience should be, uncomplicated and enjoyable.

I like the story. However, the cost is high for books on here and they are never ending. Not that the chapters are long, but it is almost the same outlying as the other books from this author. Sometimes it takes a moment to see what characters they have actively engaged in that chapter.

One Pretend Husband, One Real One

One Pretend Husband, One Real One

A few were brutal close-ups, fixed on the scars tracing my abdomen and the tight constellation of puncture marks. "Come on, you didn't really believe you can't get pregnant because there's something wrong with Mal, did you? The reason's simple. He doesn't want a baby with you! "Otherwise, why did I get pregnant on the first try? Only someone as shameless as you would still go through IVF. You don't even know how much Mal finds you repulsive!" I finally snapped, "Shut up!" At that moment, Ashley clutched her belly and stumbled back, crumpling to the floor. She yelped and shouted, "Gigi! Don't push me!"

Pretending with the Billionaire

Pretending with the Billionaire

Someone genuine, with a humble background. That woman I met at the library yesterday popped into my mind. What was her name? Maria? Mya? Mia! That’s right, it was Mia. She was perfect. But how was I going to convince this stranger to pretend to be my girlfriend? From the way we left things yesterday, I knew it would take more than a polite apology for her to agree to go along with this. I was positive she hated me after the rude way I spoke to her. I was not thinking of seeing her again back then.

President Tony, Let's Perfect Our Marriage

President Tony, Let's Perfect Our Marriage

Abigail's blush deepened, as she ran to the shower room, swimming in shyness, wondering how she was going to pleasure him tonight without doing the main thing. After undressing and turning on the shower, the glass door slid open and Tony walked in, stark naked in all his glory. Abigail tensed slightly, embarrassment washing her, she didn't want to meet his gaze after seeing something long and hard in between his thighs. Her heart wanted to jump out of her chest. Did all men have it this big? She turned her back to him, pretending to be focused on having her shower. For a brief moment, she didn't hear any movement. Weird. She turned to see his gaze focussed on something and his eyes were fros

A Luna's Revenge

A Luna's Revenge

The atmosphere in Abigail’s mansion was tense as she, Alexander, Shawn, and Belle gathered around the sleek glass coffee table, a nervous silence filling the air. A low hum from the TV barely reached their ears until Dominic’s voice came on, icy and sharp, cutting through the quiet. “Gail Spark,” Dominic’s face sneered on the screen, “the name everyone trusted, the figure everyone admired, turns out to be nothing more than a lie. Her real name? Abigail Monroe—the daughter of the traitorous Monroes. For years, she’s deceived you all, hiding her true identity while secretly sabotaging deals and manipulating those around her.

My Pretend Marriage to the Vampire Billionaire

My Pretend Marriage to the Vampire Billionaire

“I need to pay for my food.” “Already done.” He nodded to the shop owner who was huddled close with the waitress. “I gave them a nice tip for humoring me, now let’s go get this mouse of yours. I’m curious to see what’s so important about it.” Trisha didn’t answer as she followed him out. She hadn’t noticed the car when she had entered the building, but seeing the black fancy town car that waited patiently outside sent a shiver through her. This whole fiasco, this whole deal thing he was talking about was real. She was really going to pretend to be this famous actor’s wife for one day and even possibly get her mouse back as well.

Just finished this and wow! Love the characters, they’re all distinct and lovable and they drew me in completely. The plot was full of twists and turns, and it’s well-paced, with a good balance between events and character development. Loved it!
Moriah Knight
Excellent book! My only complaint? The main character has 4 lovers, but you never get to read about her relationship with the first one she meets, they never make it past a brush of lips. Still, a great book,

Turning the Fake Heiress' Manipulative Tricks on Her

Turning the Fake Heiress' Manipulative Tricks on Her

"Listen up—even if you're back now, this family and the engagement with the Frosts can only be mine! Trash like you from the sticks are only worthy of worshiping the ground I walk on!" As soon as she finished, she suddenly threw herself backward with a dramatic gasp. "Ah! Jemima, why did you push me?" The fake fall was smooth and practiced, like she'd studied thousands of trashy fake-heiress melodramas. Too bad it was me she was trying to mess with. The instant her back hit the ground, I drew in a breath, gathered all my strength, and let out a scream ten times more tragic than hers. "Ruth! What's wrong?"
