It advanced on her with a predatory gleam in its eyes, its movements unnervingly calm and calculated. "They’re not of this world," Magnus growled, his mind racing. He had heard of dark magic creating abominations, creatures that could not be harmed by conventional means, but he had hoped those were just legends. Now, it seemed, they were facing something out of a nightmare. The creatures began to circle them, moving with a fluidity that belied their massive size. They were playing with them, toying with their prey before the final strike. Magnus tightened his grip on his sword, his eyes flicking to his companions. They were outmatched; their weapons were useless against these abominations.

Stefan called out with difficulty, his airflow was restricted. Axel tried to revive her, but it was pointless. She was gone. To his surprise, Penelope's corpse turned into a dog-like creature. He let go of her in dismay. Like he had been hit with a jolt of electricity. Why was Penelope’s body turning into a dog? Though his eyes were blinded by tears, he still managed to make out the figure of his grandfather moving toward him. He could bet he was not happy. He broke out in sweat and shivered, which were all human reflexes. But that was all he could feel in that moment, dread. He quickly released the young man's breath and ran to his grandfather. It seemed like half of the figure's face had melted, giving space to only one eye and a half lip, including a half burnt arm, with a battered leg. One side of her was rotten, unpleasant, disfigured, and disgusting, but not to Anita, who was earnestly staring at her. " I have been waiting for you." He shuddered with excitement and anger. He threw up his arms, jerked his legs, tossed his head from side to side, and flapped his sunken, toothless mouth, loosely sewn up with thick threads.

The Figure asked when The Image stopped. Silence. “Who are you?” The Figure’s skin was moist. “I am your god.” It said. The Figure’s face wore confusion. The only illumination in the empty space; the bulb, went dead. The whole room was swallowed by darkness “Confess me as your Lord and Savior.” “NEVER!” A sudden chill filled the air. “Pity.” There was a thud. The Image screamed. “Stop it! Why are you tormenting me?” “If only you had agreed from the beginning, you would’ve still been whole. But now, you are… below human. Why do you prove to be stubborn?”

was a mass of writhing snakes. Her skin was a stony, greyish-white, covered in fine cracks, as if it might crumble at any moment. The second figure was even more terrifying. It was a knight, stitched together from the parts of different people. Rusted armor barely covered the seams, and heavy chains hung from his body, clanking horribly with every step. I frowned in confusion but did what En just said. My eyes went wide as I saw a somewhat humanoid figure. It was massive and taller than any mountains I have seen. Its body was rotting and some of its flesh had fallen off. Its head was like a tree but withered and black goo was seeping out like sap from a tree. A large mouth was located near its abdomen, it whispered and howled incoherently, eyes dotted all over its body, some had rotted off while others were crying the same black goo that was seeping out of its head. The black goo pooled near its feet as it slowly turned into the miasma.

I was expecting a tall demon Armageddon style but a humanoid figure stepped into the house. I shuddered, not from the cold but at the sight of the most disgusting thing I have ever seen – it looked like an unfinished man, missing mouth and nose, and having its skeletal bones for body while its flesh were its insides. Yet enough without a mouth, it managed to roar out my name. “Phoebe Woods.”
