Baraka stepped right up to the camera, his face inches from the lens. His eyes flared with a brilliant, undeniable violet light.
"I know what you did in Mbeya," Baraka said, his voice deadly calm, lacking any of the fear that had defined him just days ago. "I know you murdered my family. I know you murdered my city."
He reached out and gripped the edges of the security panel.
"You thought you were creating a weapon," Baraka whispered directly into the lens. "You were right. But you don't hold the leash. I'm not Patient Zero anymore, Manji. I'm the consequence.
