The Hidden Realm

The Hidden Realm

He just got out of the bathroom and currently drying his hair with a small towel. “Who are you?” The faerie wore a light blue gown, had tanned skin, grey eyes, and her long white wavy hair reached the shoulder. “I’m Abysses, and I’m in charge of looking after you.” “I can manage, thanks.” He nodded and continued to dry his hair. “I suggest you wear your battle armor today. You’ll train with Zenus, and then you’ll have a flying lesson after that.” Abysses looked serious. She appeared like her secretary reiterating his schedule for the day.

Magic Academy: Finding My Mate

Magic Academy: Finding My Mate

"Find Daisy and try to stop her from summoning a demon. Her mother is a frail, old human, and I doubt her personality will be left after she has been fused with a demon." Hayden agrees. "Right, we will find her, even if I'm not sure how to defeat Daisy. Her water magic is flawless, and then there is Alina and the entire Fae army." "We will train," I tell him, entirely serious. "I believe we have time for that before the big battle." Hayden studies me, perplexed. "Who will train us?" "I will," I smirk. "There is no better teacher than a demon." "You will train us?" Blake snorts and gives me a mocking smile like he doesn't believe me. "What are you—a material arts master or something? I don't

Abyss in the sea of memories

Abyss in the sea of memories

Related to my past. I'm suddenly out of breath. The walls in the room became mirrors. Fogs are all over the place and things became bigger than its normal size. This isn't real. I wonder when she'll show up. Dr. Prynne taught me some grounding, but I don't want to do it. I kind of want to dive deeper into this hallucinations. But again, there's a loud cry of a baby. So loud and damaging. I put both of my hands on my ears and my heart is pounding.

The Mage's Heart

The Mage's Heart

I possessed the sort of magic that lured ogres to sleep when lullabies were sung, and mages to spill their seed when I cried out in pleasure. “A -ing virgin siren,” he continued with amusement. “A very unusual commodity. Virginity is a misogynistic concept of course, but when it comes to spell components, the repressed sexuality does give a bit of a power kick that cannot be denied. Monks or other aesthetics’ hair is excellent. Years of repression there. Alright, let us get dressed. I have a book to read.” He released me and rose, reaching for a drying cloth as he stepped out of the water. He passed me a cloth as he worked his through his hair.

A brilliant adult fairy tale! Dark romance, fairies, sirens, mages, dragons, dark elves, mermaids, trolls, imps, spells, and quests. I loved it, an action packed adventure from beginning to end. Folk lore and fae stories truly came alive, I fell in love with the characters and got lost in the story.

Bound by blood and moonlight

Bound by blood and moonlight

Not with magic humming beneath my skin and assassins hunting me and war approaching from the north. I packed quickly while Lucien gave orders to guards outside. Within the hour I was settled in new chambers so deep in the palace I lost all sense of direction. "Rest." Lucien stood in the doorway. "Tomorrow we begin proper training. You need to learn control before your magic kills someone you do not intend to harm." He left and I collapsed onto the bed exhausted beyond measure. But sleep did not come. Every time I closed my eyes I saw silver light exploding from my hands and felt the assassin's bones breaking under the force of magic I had not known I possessed.

Dawlya’s Dragon

Dawlya’s Dragon

she said honestly. Chance nodded once. “Good. Fear keeps you aware.” He lifted a hand, drawing glowing sigils into the air. “Let’s begin.” The Circle inside her answered. And the world trembled. The training cavern beneath the barracks hummed softly with contained magic Chance’s wards woven so thick the air felt heavy against Avi’s skin. Torches lined the stone walls, each burning with a pale blue fire that dimmed and brightened with every shift in the ambient power. Avi stood barefoot in the center of the circle, sweat cooling on her back, throat tight. The Circle inside her pulsed like a second heartbeat too loud, too eager.

Aurora and the Heart of Magic

Aurora and the Heart of Magic

AURORA’S POV I closed my eyes and focused on the place I had seen in my memories and tried to teleport there. A few minutes later I had fallen on the ground, drenched in sweat and panting with exertion. My magical powers weren’t enough to penetrate the dark shield. There was only one way now… Teleporting to the sanctuary, I took out ‘The Heart of Magic’. I shivered at the currents of power coursed through me by just holding it.

Magic by Moonlight

Magic by Moonlight

There was a tall white candle and two polished obsidian stones. "So what kind of magic is this?" Cassius asked observing over my shoulder. "It is called scrying," she said matter-of-factly. Selene stepped between Ares and Magnus to light a piece of kindle in the fireplace. She then walked her flame to the candle and lit the wick before shaking the tinder out. "What does it do?" Kole asked curiously. Every one of us was fascinated by the witch's current actions. "If I do it right, then I should be able to see where Damion is located," she said as she settled herself in my chair directly in front of the candle flame.

Fangs, Furs And Spells

Fangs, Furs And Spells

“She reached her limit ten minutes ago Maria. This is where the training begins” I bit down in my lower lip to prevent myself from snapping back. My hands shook as I pushed myself upright. Every muscle in my body screamed back in pain but I managed to uniformly hold myself up. Caspian watched from the shade of a tree, black coat hanging open with an unreadable expression. He had said a word since we started and that made me felt worse. I couldn't tell if he thought this was worse or... Not enough. “Feet shoulder-wide apart” Alexandria commanded, “You have to ground yourself or the magic will be backlashing each time”
