"What's wrong with me?" I ask in a whisper. "You triggered your section in the woods last night" Vera said gripping my chin and forcing me to look down at her. "But I don't think its the only one, you have signs of other sections living in you" she said causing my breathing to get heavy. "How the fuck would that even be possible" I ask and she lets out a sigh. "In the past there was said to be a few hybrids, but if any were around they were slaughtered" she said causing me to gasp.

She felt a pair of warm hands carry her back. ‘He is your husband; try to remember everything before it’s too late.’ Even in her fading consciousness, that word still bothered the hell out of her. Not the kind that pressed on my chest from nightmares, but a heavy stillness that seemed to stretch through my bones and muscles, like I had been asleep for years.
