Fighting Fate

Fighting Fate

With every charge lunged at him he fought back, snapping his jaws, and trying to keep taking chunks from him. Silently I charged towards him with everything I had and leapt onto his back. I had the scruff of his neck in my jaws and soon found a wound made by Rocco. I used my jaws to open it wider, ripping huge shreds of muscle away. Blood rushed up at me, hot and sticky on my face. I fell off his black furred back onto the floor and watched as Rocco leapt up and took over. Pinning Wicknace to the floor he didn’t spare a second before taking his throat.

Another great story written by Alle! I really enjoyed the characters conversing with the reader, it was a really neat perspective that I’ve never read before now! This book has it all- love, humor, excitement, danger, heartbreak, and healing … all bundled up nicely with a bow. READ IT!

I have read this twice now and absolutely love it! Rocco's character is nothing short of spectacular. I just adore him. I am also slightly obsessessed with the way the characters talk to the reader in this book! Highly recommend this book, as well as all of Alle's books!

Fighting Hearts

Fighting Hearts

The opponent pulled twice—Kai blocked the first, overextended on the second—and that old, familiar fire in his chest flared up in an instant. “Red!” Aria’s voice cracked across the sound, but the brake was too late; the body moved before the word could land. Kai drifted two steps toward the ropes, caught a glimpse of the man leaning toward Aria again, and the half-sentence—“How long can you take it, sweetheart?”—split the air like a draft slamming through a poorly closed door. Kai stepped to the rope, turned halfway, and, not by plan but by reflex, threw a single clean right—no showy arc, no excess, just a timed, chin-planted punch. The man crumpled to the rubber floor by the railing like so

Alpha Professor's Forbidden Affair

Alpha Professor's Forbidden Affair

I sprint across the vast area of land, my growl reverberating through the space. There are three men by the entrance, and as they spot me, they scramble for their guns, but they’re too slow. The first man raises his weapon, but I’m already on him. My jaws clamp onto his arm, and with a swift twist, I send him flying. He hits the wall with a sickening crack and doesn’t get up. The second man fires a shot that grazes my side. Pain flares, but it only fuels my rage. I lunge at him, knocking the gun from his hand before my claws tear through his chest, scratching down at his heart. He remains there with his heart pumping and bleeding out.

Hands-On Affair

Hands-On Affair

"Don't touch there. I don't want to finish. I need to save it for tonight with Alara." She looked at me in surprise. "Stefan, this is just part of the treatment. Don't worry. I won't let you finish. This is just to help restore your function." Only then did I ease up and let go of her wrist. Hannah's soft hand wrapped around me gently. With just a slight movement, my entire body tensed. It felt like countless ants were crawling through my nerves. It was strange. When Alara did that to me, my body did not react. However, with just a light touch from Hannah, I was already close to the edge.

The False Affair

The False Affair

Lara twisted the car keys for the umpteenth time still nothing happened. The car didn’t start, or even attempt to start. It just kept raising her hopes every time it made that kick-starting sound, and shattering that hope when it eventually didn’t budge. In undiluted frustration, anger included, she pounded at the innocent steering wheel till she felt some sort of satisfaction seep in. Yes, you may have guessed right. Two days later she was still fuming. Especially as this so-called ‘Tristan Aguilar’ had returned the bouquet of flowers with yet another note saying: SO . . . WHAT TIME SHOULD I PICK YOU UP FOR DINNER?

An Affair with Death

An Affair with Death

That afternoon, I got Evan to hand the divorce papers to Zach. I changed the locks at home, too. Then, I went straight to my parents' place to tell them about Zach's situation. I only told them about how Zach had an affair. I did not dare to mention that Zach had killed me once. I was afraid my parents would not be able to take it. Thankfully, my father was still influential. He quickly took back Zach's power and fired all the people Zach had gotten to his side.

REVENGE

REVENGE

Greg threw at him. "You see why I didn't want to talk about it? Look at people I call my friends, they can't even stand by me when I need them the most! Excuse me, I'm going first!" Tyler stalled away. He didn't mind his friends who were still looking at him as if he just peed on his pants and got into his car, then sped off. He won't go home, a long drive to clear his head is all he needed. *** Sophia and Gena were dressed in black all over, while the other Special Assassinators were all in Soldiers clothings, from cap to boots.

The Affair with my driver

he said clearing his throat. "So why are you looking at me through the mirror, I can see you, you know that right?" I said raising my brows. "I'm sorry for staring Mrs Martinez" he apologized. He kept his eyes on the road this time and I tool the time to checked him out. He's very muscular and handsome. Latoya you are married remember that and you can't have an affair, your husband will kill you. He's a jealous and very ignorant Mexican so be careful what you're thinking. The Business Affair

Chris and Shirley both froze when they heard that. Chris tried to brush it off and muttered to Shirley, "She's bluffing. Who'd pull security footage for no reason?" Shirley instantly regained her confidence. "Janet, even if you don't like me, you don't get to slander me! And you cheated first. That's the truth." I walked up and slapped her across the face. Smack! "Stop talking nonsense. Steven's my brother." Riley scoffed, grabbed my hair again, and slammed me to the floor.

Affair With The Mafia

Affair With The Mafia

They hid behind the intact body of the car while the four black cars that had been pursuing them stopped a bit behind. Cheryl hugged her body with fear, letting her hands and feet tremble while she crouched behind Beatrice's body. The sound of gunfire still echoed in her ears. Occasionally, Beatrice returned fire. However, they were outnumbered. One person wouldn't be able to fight against four vehicles that seemed to be deliberately targeting them from a distance. Intimidated them. Showing that their main goal was not to kill but to send a warning threat. "Close your eyes. You won't like what I'm about to do!" Beatrice looked at her with sharp, fearful eyes.
