“Did I worth nothing to them?” I was very much submerged in my thoughts when my alarm buzzed again after half an hour. I couldn’t believe I wasted my precious time again remembering the distressing events of my life. In my usual morning, I could have been in my office clothes at this hour. I could only shake my head at how I pondered my past in the early morning. With that, I swiftly ran to my bathroom and took a bath.

' I paused a bit, smiling to my funny thoughts and writing this is really ridiculous, isn't it? I asked myself scrolling through the chapters I've been written and the blank pages still. Chapter 10 is going to start with when we got admissions and how we met Madinah again. "Assalam Alaikum!" A feminine voice called from outside. It followed with slow, sharp knocks on the door. I guessed the person must be nervous and in a hurry maybe. I rushed to get living room to reply the greetings. When I opened the door, My eyes surprisingly flashed at the gorgeous future standing in front of me.

"I just gave the meal you brought me to Priscilla. Do you really have to go after her like this?" Justin Kylemark, my childhood friend, spoke in an annoyed tone. "Priscilla's weak. She's about to take her SAT. She needs this more than I do. You always take pride in being fair, don't you? Then, just hand the admission tickets to her. Stop being so power-hungry!" Right then, I was clutching the class' admission tickets with all my strength.

“That way. Third building on the right.” “Thanks,” I say, but he’s already walking away. I hurry in the direction he pointed, my heels clicking against the pavement. I hate being late, especially on my first day in this class. The Director of Admissions mentioned it’s one of the most competitive courses in the business program. I can’t afford to make a bad impression. I find the building and push through the doors, scanning the room numbers. Lecture Hall 5 is at the end of the hallway. I slip inside just as the clock strikes the hour.
