Thank you for your support Astrid's POV: "Look who's here," As I walked through the school hallway, I couldn't avoid the taunts and jeers from my classmates. It was a daily ritual. Ignoring them, I hurried towards my classes, but then I encountered Benson, the school's resident troublemaker who seemed to believe the whole world revolved around him. "What do you want, Benson?" I asked, my irritation growing by the second.

My siblings all went here and had a great time. As a matter of fact, two of my brothers still attend Ardale Academy.

She seemed like a breath of fresh air, a new chapter in their school journey. It was lunch period and Hannah made her way down the bustling hallway, she stumbled upon a scene that would change her life, and the lives of many others, forever. Near the lockers, a group of bullies led by Jack was tormenting a smaller student named Max. Max, a timid boy with glasses, had become an unfortunate target for the bullies. He stood there, trembling and on the verge of tears, his books strewn across the floor. The bullies laughed cruelly, relishing in Max's misery.

I stated and then hung up the phone. I thought he actually listened to me and didn’t bother contacting me. I never expected this. What did he want with my life? Was he back to ruin it all? Just when I had begun to think life was perfect for me and now he was back to make me suffer and be traumatised all over again, but this time, I won't go down without a fight. I was not the fat, meek and naive seventeen year old from high school anymore. I wouldn’t let a person walk all over me anymore, even if that person is my stepbrother. I thought those words in my head before I fell asleep.

I kept my head high and ignored everyone while I sat in the corner aisle, drowning in notes while pretending the stares didn’t exist. I would bury myself in studying, avoid Gen’s comfort and spend late nights at work before walking to the hospital at dawn. Strangely, Cyrus and his friends had gone quiet since then. That silence unsettled me more than their cruelty. They were treating me like a toy. They would come up and bully me whenever they felt like it. I was about to have enough of their shenanigans. I decided to retaliate.

“The witches of Witch Inadu. And I have to be ready.” Would you like me to move directly to Chapter 31 next, now from Nathaniel’s POV, as you instructed?

I heard Kate ask before hugging me. "I'm fine! I'm just tired of him bullying me." I said. "I can't believe Mrs. Grammer acted like he didn't say anything to you. She should have kicked him out." Kayla said "Yeah, but you know she is from his pack. She would never go against him for me. No one would; I am poor and a nobody. He is a soon-to-be Alpha of his pack." "You aren't a nobody, and it's not right how he treats you and gets away with it. Don't sell yourself short," Kate said.

" I gulp at his darkened, lusty eyes, which are leering at me like a fresh piece of meat to a wild animal. He straightens to his feet while my brain scrambles for a way to get out of this situation I've found myself, but as if he knows what I'm thinking, he suddenly adds, "And don't even think about hiding. You're going to make it worse on yourself, I won't stop even if you beg me or pass out" * *
