I asked, glancing between the two of them. Farrell crouched down, running a hand through the cub’s thick fur. The tenderness in his touch was undeniable. The little creature looked up at him with trusting eyes before letting out a soft purr. “Wandered off, the little troublemaker.” Farrell chuckled, scratching behind the cub’s ear. “Found his way to you, of all people.” I stared at the cub, then back at him. “You’re his father?” He glanced up at me “Something like that.”

I looked at the two white balls of fur my mouth hanging open. 'Our pups!' Hela cried out in my mind and she pounced around in excitement, suddenly stopped, 'Where is Julian.' I heard a little whimper and looked down on the floor to see a third white ball of fir with the cutest silver ears. I leant down and lifted him on to the bed and looked at Grant who had Alistair held out like he was simba from the lion king, his little silver tail wagging. Grant's mouth hung open in shock.

“I beg your pardon! I am a knight, and knights do not have fur. Nor do dragons. They have scales. In this instance, they have gold scales. Not fur, you imbecile.” I shake my head with a smile and follow Adrian out of the room. “Can I still call them fur babies if they don’t have any fur?” He gives another chuckle. “Honestly? I’ve got no fucking idea what you’re talking about.”

He jumped on the bedside table and looked between us and the babies, before settling down there and sitting on his paws, becoming a huge and chubby ball of orange fur. “You finally came to see your new baby sister and baby brother,” I beamed, and Burbus mewed at me. I knew that because of his connection with the Great Golden Fire he would be able to feel when the babies came. Even though Burbus was the laziest cat I’ve met, he stayed there with his eyes open, as if he was guarding the babies, watching over them. Egan took our sated baby girl in his arms and she opened her little blue eyes slowly, yawning. His smile was so big that it almost filled his whole face. He couldn’t be happier, if i

The air was electric with energy, filled with the sound of their excited barks and playful growls, as the grassy field became their canvas for youthful antics. My pup, Alma, with her sleek, dark coat that seemed to shimmer in the light, bounded joyfully across the meadow. Her vibrant spirit matched that of Matt’s pup, Sionavar—Sion for short—whose striking silver fur caught the sunlight like a beacon. Alice’s pup, Kerian, was undeniably mischievous, with sparkling green eyes and a quick, darting movement that always kept him a step ahead. Kim’s pup ZaZu, adorned with unique patches of gray and black, gilded gracefully through the grass, while Cam’s pup Rema, the largest of the group, exuded

I shut my eyes off several times, tight-shut and not just swift blinks, in order to accustom myself to what is in front of me. It’s silver! The color of those fluffy furs is metallic silver with a golden mane around the neck that looks like a necklace and with white stockings at the base of its paws. Its head is enormous, gorgeous, and magnificent. It looks like Amaltheo somehow, but something doesn’t feel right. It’s on defense mode, standing gallantry in between me and the sleeping lady who I assume is Allyssa. There couldn’t be another anyway.

I gazed down at the fur baby in my lap. So pure and adorable like you! Did he really mean that? A warm feeling sprouted inside my chest. I smiled at the fuzz bundle. “Hmmmmm so what should we name you,” I placed my finger on my chin. “How about Astra or Bubbly,”? I asked her, but she only looked at me confused.

Snowball was, of course, all white. And the grey one that looked like its mother was Arabella. "Cocoa, Dusty, Inky, Snowball, and Arabella. And you're sure Arabella's a girl?" Jenny's eyes widened, and she looked into the box uncertainly.

Reluctantly, Ares dropped the chunk of fur into my palm. “What is it, then? If it isn’t black?” Cendres cocked his head at me. I grinned. “It’s sable.” “And?” Cendres was being even slower than usual. Everyone ignored him again. “Are you sure?” asked Ares, snatching the fur back from me. “Hold it up to the light. It’s got brown undertones.” “Can someone please explain what this means,” Cendres groaned. “I don’t get it.”

I say hello as I make my way to the back, where the latest intake was placed. He is growling, his hackles raised as he bares his teeth at me and I ignore him. This big ball of fur is Brutus. He is a big baby. Brutus is an XL American Bully. He is all power and muscle. He is fawn with a white patch on his chest.
