“If there was an accident we would have heard about it, you are Maria Rodriguez, who doesn't know you and besides you don't have a single scratch on your body.” “You are right, I am Maria Rodriguez but you left one thing… Maria Rodriguez does not betray anyone.” Old Grandpa took in deep breaths turning to me. “I believe you, but these pictures say otherwise so until I find out what is going on, this matter remains silent.” I shook my head in disagreement. “I don't know how Allen got his hands on these pictures but for him to have these pictures, he must know about the accident.” “Maria would not cheat on you,” Adam defended. “She might not love you but she would never do something like that.

All four of these women are impossibly gorgeous, and I’m feeling a little self-conscious as I stand across from them with tangly, windblown hair, dressed in borrowed clothes that don’t fit quite right. “Sorry for barging in like this, we’re just so excited you’re here!” the little curly-haired one chirps enthusiastically. She must be able to read the confusion on my face because she quickly goes on to elaborate. “You met our mates this morning. I’m Astrid, and this is Quinn, Brooke, and Fallon,” she says, pointing to each of the other girls as she names them off. “Nice to meet you all,” I breathe, smoothing my hair with a hand and stepping closer. “Are you part of Reid’s pack, or…”

Adrianna’s heart races as she stares at the television screen, the flickering images of her face juxtaposed against headlines that scream betrayal. The news anchors drone on, their voices dripping with curiosity and judgment. “Adrianna Houston, rumored mistress of billionaire Lance Vallerand, now faces scrutiny as his engagement to Bianca Hart approaches.” Her chest feels tight, a suffocating band constricting her lungs. Wade steps closer, his eyes filled with a mixture of mockery and disdain.

Eros emphasised, and for a moment, the room became silent again. Then, as if a switch had been flipped, Adriana sprang up from the bed like she’d been burnt. Her back facing him, her hands gripped her head. When she finally turned, her eyes were blazing. “Are you completely out of your mind, Eros?” she hissed. “You think I’m stupid enough to fall for this? What do you take me for—one of those Australian sluts you used to parade around the house like trophies?” She continued, her voice cracking at the end from rage.

"Yes Lorraine, no we haven't met before. I'm a member of the club. I'm what you called a headhunter for a job available. But I specialized in a different kind of field of expertise. I've heard about your situation. Please don't leave, just listen and think about it. You don't have to answer or even get back to me if you're not interested." I was about to get up, this sounded shadier. I didn't like where this conversation is going. Then she gave me her card, there was no company name, just her name Adriana and her mobile number. There wasn't even a last name. I drank more champagne, and try to stay as still as possible.

Maya nudged her sharply in the ribs. "This is Adrian," Ariana finally managed. She forced a smile that felt tight and artificial, her voice pitching slightly higher than usual. "He’s, um... he’s a Senior Portfolio Architect for a private equity firm. Based in Zurich, mostly. He’s just in town for a few months on a special project."

As our lips touch, I flip us over. He looks mildly shocked as I straddle him. "My turn." He watches me with hooded eyes as I pull down his shorts and expose his exceptional length. "Andrea wait," he protests. He jerks as I take him into my mouth, his protests ceasing immediately. He groans as I use my tongue against him, sucking as I move my head up and down. "Fuck," he swears as I hollow my cheeks. I look at him through my lashes. His pupils are completely dilated, his breathing labored.

For a second, I thought he might actually kiss me or crush me. "Brother, stop terrifying the poor girl. You're getting water on your suit." A woman stepped out from the shadows behind Xavier’s chair. She was stunning, with sharp features and hair as dark as a raven’s wing. She wore a suit that looked more expensive than the villa my father had sold, and she held a glass of champagne with the bored elegance of a queen. This was Adriana Vane. The eldest, the powerhouse, and the woman who reportedly ran half the city’s tech from a laptop in her bedroom.

She knew at that moment, her own complexion had also gone pale. Then a sudden hatred was expressed on her face as she narrowed her brow, at Adrian Lester, the man that has caused her so much pain and caused her Papa's death. “Aurora, this is my friend, Adrian Lester. He's the CEO of the Lester conglomerate in New Jersey. He's an old acquaintance of mine” Santiago introduced. Turning to Adrian he said “My sister Aurora Blake” But neither Aurora nor Adrian heard him at all. They both stood staring at each other without a word.

"Did you really think you could intimdate me because you're loaded with money? Because you're an Austin? Do you think your money has any value to me? Think again. "You're looking remorseful now because you've realized who I am. What if you didn't get to know my identity? Let me tell you, learn to respect people regardless of who or what they are. This attitude of yours won't get you anywhere in life. "I screamed because I thought that substance was something else. By the way, you asked if my parents can afford that wine. To answer you, my parents can buy you and everything involving you and they'll still have change. I am Annabelle Siromani and you will not disrespect me or my family."
