POV EMMA BELLE The Vesper groaned as it hovered over the precipice of the Well. Below us, a column of white-violet energy roared upward, a fountain of unrefined Aether that served as the planet's nervous system. Aethelred stood on a platform of translucent glass that floated within the gale of light.
