The Loyal Spartan

The Loyal Spartan

The fragile peace was already cracking, the dark clouds of war gathering on the horizon once more. But amid the chaos, there was a moment of quiet, profound clarity. I watched as Androkles and Ismene-Eirene stood together, their heads bowed in quiet conversation, their hands joined, their bodies a united front against the coming storm. They were no longer just a man and a woman, a lord and his lady. They were a team, a partnership, a force to be reckoned with.

Athena

Athena

The man looked deadly; malignance written in his eyes. “Come here now, you little whore,” he undid his pants, standing in his boxers. The girl grabbed a piece of wood and hid it behind her. She got up and walked over to him as asked. He didn’t want Cleon to get hurt. She had seen him try and hurt Cleon before. In slow, steady steps, she walked closer to the man. “My good little slut,” he put his hands on her waist and dragged her closer. Athena took the opportunity and slashed his neck with the wood. The man let her go and clutched his neck.

Into His Darkness

Into His Darkness

Semele foolishly demanded that Zeus prove himself and his power, and this led to her destruction. Generations later, the great grandson of Cadmus, King Laius gave the necklace to his wife Jocasta. She remained young and beautiful thanks to the power of the necklace. After King Laius was unwittingly killed by Oedipus, their abandoned son, Jocasta married her own son, unaware of his identity. Hello lovely people! sorry for leaving you all hanging in middle of nowhere. I seriously didn't get time in past month to update for which I am really sorry. I will try to complete the story in this book only. Please be patient with me as I am recently acquainted to college life.

I'm guessing that English isn't your first language. Maybe it would be best to hire an editor? Some of the grammar mistakes make for a confusing read. I have had to re-read quite a few lines and guess the meaning with context clues. I'm intrigued with the story so keep it coming!

Hidden By The Gods (Book #2 of Silver Moon Series)

Hidden By The Gods (Book #2 of Silver Moon Series)

Shade I know that Penthesilea and Phlegyas don’t trust me, and the feeling is mutual. I have never trusted those two. No one knows that neither of their mothers survived their births, but Penthesilea and Phlegyas killed each of their mothers when they were young. Both of the women had come to me explaining that a god had gotten them pregnant and that they wanted to survive the birth and keep the children hidden. I helped both of them and helped them spread the rumour that neither one had survived the birth. Both of the women had gone into hiding with my help. The women had never told either Penthesilea or Phlegyas who their father was. They had found out on their own and became pissed

Mafia Men: Nikolai's Inferno

Mafia Men: Nikolai's Inferno

“My Agamemnon... You patronize me like some little woman with no mind to call her own. I speak with a heart devoid of fear to those with wit to understand, and you can praise me or condemn me as you like, it's all the same to me.” -CLYTEMNESTRA, not Helen. Ah, touché... I wanted to know, I needed to know if the rumors were true—that Moretti had my wife all this time. This package was sent by them, she fell right into my lap. She was frolicking around right under my nose all this time in Sicily. I read the note again. Agamemnon was a king who was murdered by his wife—Clytemnestra. I think it pissed her off when I called her Helen of Troy. A ghost of a smile pulled over my lips.

she mumbled. ******************* Maven, in fact, was right. Estelle men have ambushed Kion men, killing most of them before Ophelia could get to them. Ophelia was met with dead bodies, killed in the most gruesome way. She gathered the remaining men and, together, met with Estelle and Queen Aurora halfway. The two sides stood, staring at each other quietly. Kion looked at Estelle; she stood like a warrior, her gold eyes staring at him. He never imagined he would see her like this, but of course, the way she looked at him, he knew she wasn’t as weak as she seemed. Ophelia looked at Estelle, her eyes digging into her skin, and, of course, she could feel the pup.

Selena queried. "House Illuyankamunus is the house of the dragon," I pointed to Alkonyka and the gorgeous Nordic-style dragon tattooed along the entirety of her right back and shoulder. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I checked. Yes, I had Fortune Cookies. "The lady who walked away has come back from Underworld Hell with Ajax from the Trojan Wars to wreak vengeance on the Amazons," I gave her a lopsided grin. "Molpadia's mom was mocked by Ajax and she is hoping that she can restore her mother's honor and let that woman find piece with her ancestors...Achilles having already exited to the Elysium Fields."

Penelope

JAMIE He wasn't happy about it, just like I wasn't. My Father wasn't all that happy about Mason Knight showing his face, after everything he's done. He wasn't happy about him being back in my life, nor Penelope's either. Because of this, I was the one facing of wrath of Clay Harris. I guess Mason will be too if my Parents don't leave before he gets here. "I'm not happy about this, Jamie. No, I don't like it!"He shook his head.

When you have to wait for long periods of time to read 1 short chapter it takes away from the enjoyment of reading the book. By the time a new chapter comes out, I have forgotten the other short chapters.

If Jamie is killed off in this storyline then what's the point. She's the fantastic female character that you want to know what going to happen between her & Mason. She's been through enough, now this tragic scenario ... happens. Come on now give her a HAPPY ENDING.

The Alpha's Surprised Mate (Book #1 of Silver Moon Series)

After Brandon was finished, I began explaining what I had learned about the family. “I would like to know one thing. I thought that Penthesilea and Phlegyas were put to death after what they did to Aphrodite.” I said. “We were told they were and there were pictures of them dead. I saw them die.” Hades replied. “Their powers were removed then they were killed.” Ares states.
