If I were to choose someone for you, I'd choose him. Damon has no redeemable qualities in my eyes, but Aiden does.”

He was at the checkout when he heard a familiar voice. “Adam Peterson?” The voice asked. Adam turned around and found Simon Cole right behind him. Adam was having a hard time wrapping his head around it. Simon thought that he didn't remember him so he added, “Come on! The medusa guy from Albuquerque?” Adam knew exactly who he was looking at. Such people were hard to forget. The only reason his brain took so long to register it was because Simon was a long way from home. Adam managed a weak smile and a nod. Simon let out a hearty laugh and hugged him.
