And what better way to avenge her parents death than to make sure her uncle does not get the CEO title he has schemed so hard for. Just before her mother died, she had whispered to her that her uncle, Marcus had been behind the death of her father. She had no evidence to prove it. Yet. “Alright, I will do it.” “Oh, thank you so much Miss Goven. Your grandfather…” “I’m not done yet Mr, James. I will do it only on these conditions. First, I will reveal my real identity as the heiress of the Goven family only when I am ready to do so. Second, I will not be returning to the Goven household or to City E until I am ready to. Thirdly, since my identity can not yet be revealed, I will be acting as t

Her mask, which had been precariously perched on her face, slipped off and fell to the floor. A seasoned journalist named Alex, had been covering the Manchester family's social circle for years. He had seen countless photos of Liliana Anderson, the elusive "Ice Queen," but never thought he'd cross paths with her in person. Yet, as he scanned the room, his eyes landed on a familiar face - or rather, a familiar profile. The sharp jawline, the piercing eyes, and the distinctive nose were all unmistakable.

“Resist the urge to display your stupidity.” Kilton froze on the spot, with no clear direction as to what he intended to do. I turned my face slightly to see Dacian coming towards us. “Stay out of this.” Kilton hissed at Dacian. “You realize that's the Queen, right?” Dacian asked, walking into the stable, just as Mikah and Mikael also emerged out of the inner stable at the same time. “And what is your…” “I will break your limbs and feed your remains to the dogs if you dare lay a finger on her.” Dacian instantly cut him off.

Damion's POV. "That girl is on my last nerve. I swear the next time she does some stupid shit I am putting a bullet in-between her fucking eyes." I slammed my fist into the punching bag. "What did she do this time?" Heth, my second in command, snickered as he held the bag for me. "She fucking killed one of the guards and tried to run. I don't get why she wants to leave. I have given her anything she asks for."

High Elder Anselm, being the leader of the group, undoubtedly had the monarch’s confidence. The armed guard opened the heavy wooden door, and Archer stepped inside, the two princesses and High Elder Anselm at his trail. There, in his massive bed, lay the deceased body of King Alaric, the beloved king of Vrasambail, husband to departed Queen Amarantha, and father to Archer, Agatha, and Madeleine. Six women clad in white robes – all members of the Sisterhood of Healers who attend to births, the sickly, and the dead—were around him.

Bastet was standing in the middle of the ice rink smiling, but I didn’t think it that it was funny. “What the hell is wrong with you?!” I screamed at her as soon as I noticed everything around us was frozen. I skated to the ice to where she was standing, feeling very frustrated when she shrugged. “You keep on dying when you aren’t supposed to die! So, I will keep on bringing you back, until you get it right.” She smiled as though this was all just a game to her.

“My son… I am scared that he might follow the same destiny as mine.” I looked down, intertwined my two hands. The weight in my chest. The painful sensation. The sorrow and grief. “I can truly see the gladness in his eyes every time he looks at you.” Queen Ice held my hand and placed it on her cheek. “Promise me, if you love him, fight for it. Get away from this bloody place. Create a wonderful family. Time will pass by and you can’t pull it back.” The tears were in the side of her eyes. She brought her hand down and rested her palm on my cheek. “Colden is as kind as the blossoming flower. He can’t hurt you because he knows what I experienced in loving the wrong person. He might look weak, a

Isdis proclaimed with a wave of her hand “Pu-A-ah!!!!!!” Patricia that was on the floor screeched in a high tone as she vomited blood and her rolled backwards from being pierced at the heart by a huge icicle. “I-is t-that, is, I…it’t’s…..” Jack muttered stupidly whilst Igris quivered with unknown emotions “It’s the legendary ice ability!”

When the queen reappeared again, I knew she was up to something, especially when she showed me something that made my heart shatter. “Hello there, kira, I bought something for you.” The cruel smile on her face as she had Ace behind her, crawling like a dog instantly made me stand up. “Ace!” I yelled, focusing on him but he seemed to not hear me. He was walking behind the queen as if she’s her master. I felt like my heart was being teared to sheds, clenched into a fist. Goodness, what sorts of things that she did with Ace? It’s beyond normal and once Ace wakes up, i’m afraid he would not accept it.
