A small part of me admired that, but mostly, it annoyed me. “Well,” I said, leaning back in my chair, “one can never be too careful. I’m a man with many enemies, you know that. And that includes your ruthless mate, that beast of a wolf, Hunter.” I saw a flicker of something—disapproval maybe—flash across Akira’s face before she quickly looked away. I still wasn’t sure what that was. Akira composed herself and turned back to me with that same fearless expression. “Maybe you should consider having fewer enemies,” she said, her voice cool, “so you don’t have to keep running around like a man with his house on fire.”

When they arrived, Akira finally looked up, jumping to her feet as she rushed to meet Lana. “I cannot tell you how excited I am to meet you. I have been pestering Xy all day to make sure you were coming,” Akira admitted with blushed cheeks. She was so excited to finally see Lana, the woman she had heard so much about from Xy who so rarely talked about his life. She knew how important Lana Reign must have been to not only occupy his time, but now be introduced to the people who meant most to his professional life, which to date anyway, had been pretty much his life.

“But understand this, daughter—when this is over, our war resumes.” Kaidën spat blood, smirking grimly. “Fine. But let’s make sure we live long enough to take each other down.” The creature reared back, all of its eyes glowing with a blinding, molten light. The chamber shook, dust cascading from the ceiling. And for the first time, Akira stood side by side with both the man she hated most and the one she couldn’t stop needing—ready to face a nightmare older than them all.

Khora interrupted her “The moon goddess said so.” “Oh…” Akira gasped. “Exactly, but that news is the least of the horrors he committed. He started a war, broke through to the human realms and took you from me. Your beloved alpha killed you!” “I don't believe you.” Akira said as she stood slowly to her feet, her legs felt alive again, “I'm leaving, I won't sit here and watch you lie to my face.” She turned and walked on with no idea of where she was going. She just wanted to be far away.

After packing her hair in her usual ponytail,she came out again "Gosh,I don't understand why you look so hot in that uniform girl" Aurora said,staring at her,especially her hips which look wide and perfect "Oh please don't start Aurora,you see me in this everyday" Annabella rolled her eyes "I'm not surprised that you met Thadeus Storm" Aurora smirked and Anna sighed out,she wouldn't dare tell her that she also saw Gregor Campbell just now or she won't be able to rest today. "Where are the girls? Kitchen?" Annabella asked

Every one was happy, but deep within Amir a whole lot we missing. Amira had decided to finally take Akeem back to his father's land. She wasn't raised a coward. She was done hiding. She needed help, she knew she couldn't do this on her own and so she decided that Anna would be of a huge help to her. After much persuasion, Anna finally agreed. We all turned toward the sound. "Stop!" Ren yelled, shoving someone in front of him, a gun pressed against her head, and my eyes widened with horror. Ana? Kian's girlfriend stood trembling, tears in her eyes, and Akira seized the moment of distraction to ram his fist into Val's throat. Val's grip loosened, and Akira slipped out of his arms. It all happened too fast, and all I could do was scream as a hunter severed Andreas's head.

I paused as I sucked in air. "I don't know how it happened. The craziest thing is, nobody remembers my former self. My name is Kira, you called me by my real name once and I thought maybe you knew something about it. Maybe it was just your vampire instinct. Do you know the craziest thing?” I turned to look at Ken who was looking keenly at me. "Austin doesn't even have a mate now. But I was his mate. He hates me, but I feel connected to him like we are still mates. I just wish Katrina would come back to me”

Peace never seems to come to them. There was no end to their cruel fate. But Akira was not about to lose to fate after defeating a centuries-old plague. Her explosive power knocks everyone back, flying, but the brunt force of her power was focused on Deo’s wolf, who was slammed to the ground like a pesky rat caught with its tail. Fenrir falls to his knees on the ground and clutches his bleeding abdomen. Akira was torn on what to do first. She kneels in front of Fenrir and caresses his cheeks. With a shaking voice, she whispers, “I can lose everything, everything but you. Oh, Gods… Not you…”

I straightened up and met Xylara's gaze. With a firm voice, I demanded, "What do you want?”"I want to show you the truth," Xylara said, her smile a thin, cruel line.
