Kalista voiced out, taking two careful steps backwards. "It senses you as a different creature," Salem explained as little as she could. "Don't move. Remain where you are while I recite the spells." Kalista stopped on her tracks the moment Salem ordered her not to move. Her eyes fell on the other witches and she could see clear terror in their eyes. The fact that they were terrified of the creature intensified her fear and sent chills down her spine. If the strongest witches of the village could be terrified, it meant the creature was deadlier than what Salem told her.

Alpha Chester introduced me to him, "Nora, meet Alpha Jacob of the Storm Claw Pack. Alpha Jacob, this is my wife and the Luna of my pack, Nora Farkas." Alpha Jacob's terrifying blue gaze fell on me.
