A THOUSAND GOOD-BYES
Kael pulled over in a quiet side street, killed the engine, and hauled me across the console into his lap.
“Fuck, Alisa,” he rasped, hands everywhere. “Watching you stand up to him… my perfect mate.”
Our mouths crashed together. Desperate. Tongues and teeth. His hand shoved my dress up, fingers finding me drenched. Two thick digits plunged inside, curling perfectly. I rode his hand shamelessly, moaning into his mouth, the bond blazing white-hot between us.
“Come,” he growled. “Now.”
I shattered hard, clenching around him, his name a broken prayer on my lips.
