Elowen’s POV – Twilight Whispers That evening, as the last vestiges of daylight faded into the soft embrace of twilight, the academy’s grounds transformed into a quiet sanctuary. I found myself wandering along a secluded stone path leading to a hidden courtyard, a place that had once been filled with echoes of our past conflicts and now promised a fragile new beginning. The gentle hum of evening stirred in the air—a murmur of crickets, the soft rustle of leaves—and all around, the academy seemed to exhale, releasing the weight of the day.

All of it told Sarah that the piece of human leg she was seeing wasn't fake. Sarah gasped for air, the flashlight slid off from her fingers. She falls back, gasping and wheezing as she stumbles backward, her widening eyes staring directly to the leg that became more visible because of the flashlight harboring it. Only then did she manage to let out a scream.

Alex sneered. “You don’t have the final say on its authenticity. The Lightning Tribulation will be the one to decide.” Looking at Alex, Cecilia was overjoyed. “Are you really Alex Rockefeller? Alex Rockefeller in the Underworld? You really hid well and revealed no information about the Underworld. If everyone else hadn’t been spreading the news, I would’ve never known you were a Wastelander.”

ALISA’s POV Twilight has come and gone but there is still no sign of Ryder. My heart grows anxious as I stare out of the dilapidated hut in the woods, hoping and praying for Ryder to come, but he does not. I have a bad feeling about this. Hours ago, Alec carried me ala piggyback through the jungle just to reach the hut. Nana had promised Alec that Ryder would meet us here to clear everything up before we head back to the pack.

____ Twilight sat nervously, fidgeting with her fingers as she waited. Soon, the door opened, and a cop led her father into the space opposite her, separated by the transparent glass barrier between them. Christopher sat down, placing his cuffed hands on the table and leaning forward slightly. A scoff tore from his throat. "Who was that Alpha?" he asked. "I didn’t come here for that..." "Answer my fucking question!" he snapped, and Twilight’s jaw clenched. "He came out of nowhere, beat me up, and threw me into this jail. Since when did you start involving yourself in the werewolf world without my knowledge?"

Rain sprayed into the room through the half-open door, wetting the boxes of supplies. Sylvia stood before a young boy about the age of ten, who was lying on the ground soaked in rain and bleeding out a puddle of red. 5 YEARS LATER Twilight Pack June's POV It's been a busy week. Renae and I had been busy making tonics and herbal supplements for the upcoming event. It was Alpha Ted's order It was one of a kind. I had never witnessed a big event of such in the past five years since we had been absorbed by the Twilight Pack. It's been crazy coping with the Pack's responsibility as a maid, taking care of Renae's pups, and keeping an eye on Renae.
