Scarlet: Day 4 Today should’ve been the day of nerves and excitement and maybe even losing my v card. But instead it’s a day I feel more depressed since the night my heart was stolen by death itself. Tomorrow would’ve been my marking ceremony. A day that is like a wedding for normal humans. And here I am having cold feet days before the ceremony. I wanted to hate Ash for causing this pain in me, but it was impossible. So I decided to make my way outside of my room for once. Just to stuff my face and hope it fills the hole that has taken the place of my heart.

Not too bulgy, but just extraordinarily big. I have never seen anything so raw, so primitive. It's the standoff that gave off shadows of danger. A confrontation that seemed old as time… Suddenly, it's like an attack on my mind that went straight to my heart. A quick slice of pain lances through me. It came on like a flash, pressured my mind and somehow, found its way to my heart. It's a pain that settles inward, twisting and stabbing like a knife is being repeatedly used to injure and destroy everything good in there…

But Jeffrey was oblivious to the shift in fortunes. His opportunity to play the hero had vanished. Cameron Walker, a childhood friend with whom I grew up, had stepped in to save my company. Quiet, reserved, and usually a man of few words, Cameron had always had a knack for caring for others. On the day we graduated from university, he revealed his long-held feelings for me. He confessed that he had reserved his heart for me, not allowing any other to claim a place.

Today is the day: he has kept his feelings bottled up for too long, and he's finally ready to let them spill. He parks in front of her townhouse, steps out, smoothes his jacket, and then reaches for the gifts. His heart pounds inside his chest, the every beat thunderously drumming his nervous anticipation. He has never been good at proclaiming himself, especially in matters concerning the heart, but Elena deserves nothing less than the truth.

With my one free hand, I quickly dialed a number on my phone. Before long, someone in a white coat appeared at the end of the hall. "Christopher Morris? He has a history of heart disease, right?" the doctor asked as he led us down the VIP corridor. Selena nodded quickly. "So, is it a relapse of his heart condition?" The doctor shook their head. "No, he got kicked in the chest during a fight." Selena had mentioned her brother before. From her words, I could tell he was a good man.

"So tell us, what are you trying to get out of the Hayes family? "Wait, no." After speaking, Seth leaned closer to me with a provocative look. "First, prove whether this person actually died or if you're making it up." I suppressed the rage burning inside me and looked at Scarlett once more. "Sign the papers." Seth smiled mockingly. "You really think you're something special, don't you? "Scarlett, just sign it already. What kind of stunt is this supposed to be? Who's he trying to scare?

“Come see! Ivy walked to Isla! All by herself!” Adrian stood. Picked up Isla. I stood. Took Ivy from Alex. “Show us,” Adrian said. Alex ran ahead. To the house. To the deck. To the place where the door drawing used to be. New drawing. Taped to the slider. Five hearts. Bigger. _Mama. Dada. Alex. Ivy. Isla. Home. Always._ “Alex did it,” Adrian said. Quiet. To me. “Five hearts. He counted right.”

He stood from his chair and kept pacing the room restlessly. " You don't even know your own heart ,Alex!" I said after a while . It's all because of the damn stupid girl ! If she was not there,if she stayed at her own place and didn't come at Sunnydale to ruin everything! Both me and Alexander is having a tough time because of that girl! I walked quietly towards the class . There she was! Talking with Adam and trying to seduce him ! Such an evil soul! If she knew about what Alexander was sacrificing for her !
