I gasped, colour drained from my face, and cold seized my bones as I stared at the picture displayed on my phone. It was Alice. Her beautiful, silky hair was disheveled and her dress was cover with rips and dirt. Ugly purple bruises, cuts and blood littered her skin. Alice felt that she had no way to refuse. So, she had to add Giselle as a friend. Only then did Giselle smile as happily as a child. She was jumping in fright, yelling constantly. I shifted my gaze to see Liam standing there, with a doll in his hands. A doll which was a look alike of Annabelle. Caleb came up behind Liam, clutching his stomach and laughing uncontrollably at Alice's reaction. "Yo, Alice! Chill! I bought this for Annabelle." Caleb laughed, then, morphed his features into seriousness for a second. "But, if you want it, I will buy one for you and Charlie, too."

“I can’t get over how good they are.” “She really can’t,” Ed piped up. “She’s like… obsessed with you.” Carla blushed at this. “Aww,” Alice couldn’t help but smile. “Thank you. I honestly don’t see what’s so great about my work.” “That’s because you aren’t looking at it with the eyes of someone who draws like this…” Carla said and drew a sheep on one of the napkins. Alice felt bad laughing, but the sheep looked more like some sort of camel/lion hybrid.

I took my day of solitude every month and it has helped to keep me balanced and find peace to continue for another month of working from morning until the late evenings. So, here I am.
