Crimson guards flooded the maternity floor while armed wolves sealed elevator access under Adrian’s supervision. One assassin cursed through the comms. “We’ve been blocked.” Onscreen, Lucian himself appeared near the emergency corridor. Blood still stained his black shirt. His silver hair had fallen into disarray now. Wild. Then Adrian appeared beside him, muttering something under his breath. Exhaustion sharpened him instead of weakening him. Lucian turned and barked orders at his guards before personally checking identification badges himself. Paranoid Alpha. The alien army had been laid waste of by the Blue Streak and his team of speedsters, namely; Carol, Spartan, Violet, Emerald and Crimson. The five were then trying to take down the leader himself after he had killed Emerald, the green powered speedster and their attempts were proving to be futile. About half a mile away from the big fight, in a deserted street, which had been the case throughout the entire city due to the invasion, the wind began to pick up

I could only watch as the scene spiraled into a new, more terrifying level of chaos. “Eliminate them,” the Alpha commanded, his voice cold with fury. Gunfire erupted again, but this time it was aimed at the green-eyed figures. The bullets tore through them, but they didn’t fall. They shuddered, black ooze leaking from the wounds, and kept coming. This wasn’t a territorial dispute. This was an invasion.

Raze burst back into the room, his face pale beneath the soot. "Alpha! The mainframe firewall in the basement just melted! We're bleeding pack data across the entire Nightfall Territory!" "Get the Tech-Sentinels to sever the physical lines!" Lucien roared, his aura flaring so violently that the glass light fixtures overhead began to crack. "Lock down the vault documents!" "They're trying, Alpha, but the intruder bypassed the silver-gate protocol in seconds!" Lucien slammed his fist into the obsidian desk, leaving a spiderweb of fractures in the stone.

'What the actual f*ck,' Luca grumbled in the mind link as Hunter groaned in annoyance. Why would he annoy him so early in the morning? 'The f*ck you want?' 'Dude, Alpha King has sent his whole f*cking troop for you. They just crossed the border and Princess Violet is among them,' Luca said and Hunter abruptly sat up straight. 'WHAT?' He asked, shocked. Varian grabbed Liora and shoved her aside as a blade-arm sliced where her head had been. Sparks showered the floor. “Go!” Varian yelled. “Ines, keep working!”
