I whimpered and gulped. He was really going to reject me! "I, Xander, the future... Alpha of the Red Moon, hereby re...ject you, Lena." I watched his breath change. His eyes fluttered constantly, as if he was forcing those words out. My eyes were filled with tears as my heart became so heavy, my teeth were clenched together to force back the loud sob about to escape my lips. His eyes fell on mine, and he looked away sharply. "I, Xander, the future Alpha of the Red Moon Pack, reject you, Lena, as my..." The knife fell off his shivering hand.

Xander “What?” I asked, “Have you gone deaf?” she asked and I could hear Limuel almost blurting out laughing. “Ahm, Alpha Xander. I want you to meet our Alpha, Chastity, and yes, she is also our Luna. If you remember, we invited you for both Luna's ceremony and alpha oathtaking.” Jay said and I nodded. I was an idiot. I should have come the first time. I should have found her already and they wouldn’t have a chance for their momentarily insanity.

She asked. Xander looked over at Grey and smiled. "Grey and I have met long before he met you. We have a long history together, but, that is not what brought me here," he replied. Grey walked away from the bathroom door. "What brought you here then?" He inquired. "It's about Alyssa's thirteen sins in heaven and the apocalypse she has set in motion, as her moments with you had prolonged more than before," Xander explained with a serious look on his face.

I wince as he turns me to my back, “ You have so many women and now you have children too. ” Immediately, my eyes find him. He is already staring at me intently. I lick my dry lips. A blush creeps up my neck to my cheeks. “ It’s just Celia. ” Aleister slides my sticky bangs away from my face, his fingers delicately brushing over my skin. “ Is Agrona… ” I trail off. I don’t want it to be her, I realize. It can be anyone else but not her because she gives me odd vibes—the vibes of evil in making.

“Thank you, Alpha. I might just take you up on that offer.” He chuckles. “Looking forward to that day. Rest well, My Luna.” Xael completely loses it when the call ends. I am surprised that he did not cut Alpha Damilion off. Seeing Xael go crazy is somewhat satisfying. “You have a special place in D-pack? You might just take him up on that offer? What are you trying to do, Xena?” he fires questions at me. I flash him an innocent smile and inspect my nails. “You found your mate. Alpha Damilion has lost his. An exchange would not be such a bad ide..”

I asked softly. She shrugged. “They’re getting better.” Almost an hour passed, and no one had come out of the room. We all sat there—waiting anxiously, hoping for good news. Finally, the doctor and several nurses emerged and turned to us. “The Alpha is requesting to see his mate… and his Luna,” the doctor said. Stacy immediately stood up, shooting me a glare. As we both entered the room, I noticed the blood had been cleaned. Xavier was lying on his stomach, his torso heavily bandaged.

"He was never yours!" Xander raised the book, and purple threads descended from the ceiling, thick as cables, wrapping around our limbs. "You’ve made a mess of the page, Alpha. Now, I have to burn the whole chapter." The room exploded into white light.

Xalara Silvyn—though she knew herself only as Xalara, bastard-born and orphaned before she could walk—pressed the smooth river rock between her palms and summoned the whisper of magic that lived beneath her skin. Not with intention, but instinct—the way her lungs drew breath or her eyes blinked against the ash that perpetually rained from the factories that ringed the slum's borders. The stone's temperature rose slowly, heat seeping into her threadbare gloves, the worn leather cracked and stained with years of grime.

Marissa looked at Stella and said, "Don't worry. This is just the beginning. I will make them regret it." Stella lay in Marissa's arms. She did not answer but looked at the door with her shrewd eyes. "This is also our beginning Raeleigh Anson," she thought. Raeleigh let out a loud sneeze when she exited Marissa's room. Xanthus immediately stopped to look at her as she rubbed her nose. "Are you feeling feverish?" he asked, and she shook her head, saying, "No, I'm just feeling a little chilly."

Astra said as she picked at the fabric of the chair. “What?” Angelica was shocked by the information. “Like she pulled me from her vagina?” “Yeah, you were born here actually.” Astra said as she remembered. “Your mom and dad were visiting for a few minutes when she went into labor so they hunkered down here till she recovered.” “No kidding.” Angelica said she picked up another book. “So can we make a potion?” “Sure ill show you how to make a portal orb.” ************* Aleister watched as Shayla inhaled the stew. She had not aged a day since he last saw her. She was fleeing with the tiny infant in her arms as he was pinned to the ground. He thought of her every minute till he was awakened by
